The Bormio basin is wide and bright, surrounded by mountains where four valleys converge: the Braulio Valley that connects the Stelvio pass, the Valdisotto where the river Adda flows, La Valfurva that connects the Gavia pass, the Valdidentro that connects Livigno from Passo del Foscagno.

In Valdidentro an unmissable destination is the Cancano Lakes in the Stelvio National Park.

Arrived at the Towers of Fraele we find parking lots where leave the car as the next stretch to go is unpaved but closed to vehicular traffic.
The walk takes us first to the small natural lake of the Stairs and then we will walk along the two beautiful artificial lakes: San Giacomo and Cancano, 2 pearls of rare turquoise beauty.
If you wish to continue with the 2 wheels the tour of the Cancano dams (further 21 km) you must have a MTB.
To make the excursion even more enjoyable and enjoyable, it is possible to take advantage of an MTB and pedal-assisted bicycle rental service for adults and children on site, also with trolleys for transporting children and 4-legged friends
For the more experienced there are routes like those of the Valle Alpisella, where the Adda springs, Alpe del Gallo - Val Mora towards Switzerland or Val Forcola are located.
