Faedo, the Nativity Village

In the magical setting of the historic centre — with its arcades, narrow streets, cellars, and porticoes — you can immerse yourself in the rural life of times past. This entirely unique installation features over 80 life-size figures engaged in various everyday activities. In an old stable, you will find the Nativity scene itself. A one-of-a-kind route that allows you to discover, alongside the magic of Christmas, the charm of a small village that has preserved the allure of bygone days. The nativity can be visited free of charge every day, at any time, from Sunday 30th November to Monday 5th January.

At various points along the route, on specific dates, you can visit the Star Market, featuring artisanal products set up in the old stables and cellars. The market also includes several food stalls where you can delight your taste buds with hot drinks, sweets, and homemade dishes, offering an authentic culinary experience.

On the eve of Epiphany, the lights of Faedo are extinguished to make way for torches. A long procession of performers — shepherds, animals, and the Three Wise Men — follows a shining star through the streets of the village, singing traditional Christmas carols. An ancient tradition, truly to be experienced.
