Regenerating holiday

The apartments are in a charming and quiet location, very clean and equipped with everything you need. The owner is very welcoming, always available to share her knowledge of herbs, nature, and cuisine. The ideal place if you're looking for a regenerating holiday, even for the heart. A dream stay

Villa Schönau enjoys a stunning location, nestled in a green hillside where peace and relaxation reign supreme, at the start of the road leading up to the Alpe di Siusi. From the house, you can set off on easy hikes or reach the villages of Castelrotto and Siusi. Children can enjoy the private lawn where they can run and play freely and safely. The Telfen swimming pool, visible from the balcony, is easily accessible on foot. The owners are very kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Great experience

Fantastic location

Excellent location, a little outside of town, yet surrounded by meadows and nature. Exceptional views of the Sciliar and the valley. The apartment is spotless, functional, and newly furnished. Recommended.

Location of the house

The house is very well-kept, clean, and well-furnished. It's in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, yet not far from the city center. The hostess is very helpful and welcoming.

Very pleasant surprise!

We visited Villa Schönau in January of this year, two days of complete relaxation to unwind from our usual work routine. From the very first contact with Christine, even though I hadn't confirmed until the day before that I would be able to stay at her house, she was very kind in keeping the apartment available for me. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who upon our arrival showed us around the apartment available to us, the Tulpe. It features a fully equipped, bright kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds, a large balcony, and a spacious bathroom with a very large shower (the only complaint being the lack of a bidet). In the morning, she also kindly left us a breakfast tray in the kitchen, with bread, butter, honey, milk, and delicious homemade strawberry jam. The house is located on a slope surrounded by expansive meadows, offering beautiful views from our apartment, both from the kitchen with its large windows and from the spacious bedroom balcony, overlooking the valley below and the Bullaccia massif. The view is truly rewarding, the only shame being that it wasn't completely covered in snow, which would have made it even more exceptional. At the end of our two-day stay, Christine, at my request, was happy to show us the other two apartments (Rose and Margerite) on the upper floor, both attic apartments. These are very beautiful, although in my opinion a bit cramped due to the lack of view and light that characterizes the ground-floor apartment. Finally, Christine gave us a small, very welcome gift before we left. We will definitely be back, given our wonderful experience. Thank you!

We stayed at Villa Schönau from May 12th to May 22nd, 2018. This beautiful and peaceful holiday home with three superbly furnished apartments of varying sizes is located just above Kastelruth (St. Valentin). The Schlern mountain, with its full view, is practically within reach! The house is situated amidst countless meadows that were in bloom during our visit. Absolutely beautiful! We felt very comfortable with Christine, Johann, and their children Annalena and Florian. And there's also a cute little black kitten. We couldn't resist him! Johann got us fresh bread rolls in the morning. Christine treated us to a homemade cake once during the day. The bus stop with connections to Seiser Alm, Seis, Völs, Bolzano etc. is only about a 10-15 minute walk away, as is Kastelruth with its sights in the city center and around the Kofl, with further hiking trails and a magnificent view of Kastelruth. The Seiser Alm is roughly a 1 hour 40 minute hike from the holiday home, directly via Marinzen. There are also good local restaurants nearby. The walking distance is roughly 45 minutes in total. Even for those who are not athletic, a car is recommended. Ample parking is available in front of Villa Schönau. Christine and Johann Trocker were always there for us with help and advice. Furthermore, the family gave us each a personalized bus and cable car pass. This allowed us to travel to Seis, Völs, Bolzano, St. Ulrich, and other places by bus free of charge. The cable car from Bolzano, including the small train to the Rittnerhorn, was also included! We are impressed and can highly recommend this holiday home. We'll be back in 2019. We're really looking forward to it!

Perfect welcome and location

We stayed for the May Day long weekend. Christine recommended walks and excursions suitable for our 2- and 7-year-old children. Every morning he brought us a breakfast basket, which the children really enjoyed. The location amidst the fields is perfect for those with children to let play outdoors and also offers a beautiful view from every window. The apartment is fully equipped and perfectly clean. We will definitely be back!
