Farms and wine producers in the Italian Alps

In the mountains, farms and wine producers serve as a reference point for wine and food tourism. Especially in the Italian Alps, these producers use natural, traditional and quality-oriented methods. Where altitude and territorial conformation of the alpine area permit it, numerous wine-growing estates and wine cellars can be found. In the mountains, tourists can easily come across alpine farms, cheese dairies, apiaries but also breweries, which use the local water sources and small distilleries. Mountain farms produce jams, conserves, syrups, fruit juices and many other organic products. The different types of mountain cheese and charcuterie produced by these manufacturers are highly appreciated by foodies.
