The apartments of the House Waldrand are located on the road to the Seiser Alm, at the foot of the Sciliar (1,200 meters above sea level). Near the house there is a bus stop. The bus is a perfect transport to reach all the important villages of the area. Every morning the house offers fresh bread. In winter you can go skiing, practice long distance running, skating, snow-boarding, snow-shoeing, ski touring, go horse sledding or take different walking tours in the mountains.
In the summer you can go walking, climbing, swimming, mountain-biking, horse-riding and try a lot of other exciting activities.

This place was a gem!

We enjoyed 3 nights at Haus Waldrand. We had the lower apt. There were 2 bedrooms, bath, & kitchen. The apt. was meticulously clean & decorated very nicely. You cannot go wrong for the price. It is just a few km from Castelrotto. Our view was unbelievable. We were right below the Schelrn. The bus stops outside the apt. We had a car and did not have to drive far to get to Marinzen lift or Seis lift to the Alpe di Siusi. In fact we could walk to Marinzen trails to get to the Marinzen Hütte. The owners were very sweet. We enjoyed their large patio for evening wine and great views. We did not have wifi, but didn't mind a few days without it. I highly recommend especially if you have a car.
