Zimmerlehen Manor has belonged to the Kompatscher family for about 100 years now. It was once an episcopal fief and still is a true architectonic jewel which over the past years has been carefully renovated with full respect of its long history. It is situated in a peaceful position on the edge of the Schlern National Park overlooking the quaint village of Völs, and is the ideal starting point for relaxing strolls, scenic walks and mountain tours. It also grant easy access to many nearby attractions. It is set just a ten-minute walk from the idyllic public lake Völser Weiher, where you can go swimming in summer or ice-skating in winter, and a twenty-five-minute walk from the centre of the village.
To enjoy an unforgettable day on the beautiful Seiser Alm, a truly unique skiing and trekking resort, you just need to take the shuttle bus at the local bus stop. It will drive you right to the valley station of the Seiser Alm cableway.
The inner courtyard offers a private chapel, a sunbathing lawn, a playground for children and - if you wish to linger - some snug, secluded spots. You can also buy a variety of homemade agricultural products of the season.
The apartments are located in tower-like buildings surrounding the beautiful inner courtyard, which is the central piece of the manor and includes the farmhouse and a large barn. All flats are very comfortably furnished and offer spectacular views. Kitchen utensils and cutlery, bed linen and towels are provided. The apartments offer satellite TV, radio, safe and hairdryer.
Upon request you can also have a fresh bread delivery for breakfast. The flats take their names from famous people that lived at Zimmerlehen.
