Everything was just perfect

When searched for accommodation, Julia answered promptly at our inquiry. The apartment was just like on photo (maybe better) and I was surprised when I realised that isn’t new. It is perfectly maintained and very clean. The location is just perfect… few steps from the slopes. They have an extra bathroom next to ski room for travellers who are skiing the last day (after leaving the apartment) and want to refresh before going home. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. Great hospitality from owners and for sure we will return.

Great ski holiday

This is the third year we come to Chalet Sorëdl for our ski holiday. We always stay in the big six bed apartment. Every bedroom has planty of space and big cabinets. The kitchen is very well equipped. It has everything you need, even a great coffee machine and the coffee capsules. The bathrooms are spacious. The apartments are perfectly cleaned and there were new towels on the third day of our stay. The position of the chalet is great. It is just a few meters from the ski slope where you can buy your skipass and go to all Dolomiti Superski slopes. The Chalet is a big house and in my opinion there is enough space to build a sauna in it which would be much appreciated, I think not only by the skiers but the guests throughout the year. Anyway the Chalet is a great place for your holidays.

Very nice place!

Beautiful house in a beautiful place. I liked the welcome cookies and chocolates. The apartment was really clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable.

Holiday in gorgeous Chalet Sorëdl in La Villa, Alta Badia.

We spent a fantastic week of our winter holiday in Chalet Sorëdl. The house has a very good location nearby the ski slope, not more than just 50,- meters. This cannot be overestimated as well in the morning as on the end of day after skiing. No problem with the buses, with leaving your private car on packed parking lots nearby the bottom stations of the ski lifts. You can just go out for skiing and return after that to your apartment light-hearted at any time of the day without any trouble. You appreciate this particularly when you are tired after skiing. Apart from anything else, the apartments in Chalet Sorëdl are very nice, cosy, well equipped with furniture, kitchenware and bathroom equipment with everything you can need during your holiday. The owner of house, Mrs Julia, is a young, nice, polite, hospitable and first of all very communicative person with very a good knowledge of the English language. You will have no problem with booking apartments in Chalet Sorëdl. Mrs Julia answers just immediately on any inquiries. Similarly, if you have any request staying in Chalet Sorëdl, Mrs Julia will help you. Moreover the wonderful Alta Badia has countless beautiful mild (no steep) and scenic ski routes. My favorite one is the Armentarola piste. The adjacent ski regions as Val Gardena and Arabba have significantly more difficult and more steep routes. Although also in Alta Badia you can find difficult ski routes for more advanced skiers. Summarizing I can heartily recommend a holiday in Chalet Sorëdl and its owner Mrs Julia for everybody. Come and you won’t be disappointed.

Todo perfecto

Hemos pasado una semana de ski en La Villa. el chalet Soredl es perfecto para familias y grupos, todo es nuevo, está limpísimo y bien equipado con todo lujo de detalles, la familia Frenademetz es muy acogedora y educada, tratan de resolver todas tus necesidades con celeridad. Está a 20 m. de las pistas de ski. Sin duda volveremos mas veces, Para mi, sin duda la mejor relación calidad/porecio. Todo excelente.

Fantastic Holiday Apartment

This is the first apartment we have used in the area, as our usual hotel was being rebuilt and we were not disappointed. The Chalet was easy to find and the owners were there to meet us when we arrived. The position of the chalet allows fantastic views across the valley for super early morning and late afternoon photos. We were never in the apartment between times as there is so much to do if you love the great outdoors. The owners have thought of everything you might need for self-catering stay. The kitchen is well-equipped and everything is in good working order. The bathroom is spacious with a powerful shower, which is much appreciated at the end of a day's hiking or cycling. Both bedrooms in our apartment (No.5) had balconies, adding to the spaciousness. The bedrooms have plenty of storage and there is additional storage in the hallway, so no problem stowing away suitcases and wet weather gear (it does rain in September). We would recommend both the supermarket under Sport Tony and the Despar supermarket at the northern end of the town for grocery shopping. We hired road bikes for a day from Break Out Sport and had a great time riding the Sella Ronda on a lovely sunny day. If you enjoy walking, then a Mountain Pass is the ideal way to get up high on the ski lifts and take in some of the excellent hiking trails all across the area. In summary, the Chalet Sorëdl is a fantastic holiday apartment and one we would certainly recommend and use again.

You should see it!

We are a group of friends skiing every year and always looking for new beautiful places... The apartment was very comfortable and cosy with some delicious surprises! The whole house is very nice with cute details and very well maintained. Great position with nice view on the Dolomites and on the famous Gran Risa slope! You can reach the slopes directly from the house: there are many slopes that you can reach from Chalet Soredl and if you are good skier you should go towards Marmolada and if you are skiing with small kids Piz La Illa is a great place with lots of blue slopes all around. The whole Family Frenademetz is very hospitable and helpful! They speak Italian, German and English and will provide you with any information you need. We would definitely recommend Chalet Soredl and will visit Dolomites some more! :)

Alta Badia and Chalet Soredl... wonderful

I am writing this on behalf of 9 Australians, who have spent a week each year for the last 30 years skiing in Australia. We had heard very favorable reports of the Dolomiti and decided to book a two week adventure holiday in Alta Badia. Our requirement was a large apartment with sufficient space for 9 adults, self catering, and ski in, ski out access. The large apartment at Chalet Soredl meet our requirements and exceeded our expectations. The building is virtually new, exceptionally well maintained by Wally and her husband Luigi (Louis). Their daughter Julia spoke excellent English, and was a wiz at providing wifi access for our tablets and smartphones. The apartments are comprehensively equipped, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We booked two apartments, the large one was our living apartment (3 bed, 2 showers), and the 2 bed apartment had a sofa bed in the living area, providing private accommodation for up to 3 couples. The dining table in the large apartment comfortably sat 9 people. They were well heated, common areas, including ski room, were serviced daily. The building has a large garage for up to 8 cars, and common "user pay" laundry. The building is a 500 metre walk to the supermarket, down quite a steep hill. Ski access is excellent with direct access to the Gardenazza lift, and access via two short access lifts to the Piz La Ila Gondola. Luigi arranged a discounted on our ski hire and transported the skis, and our groceries up the hill in his station wagon. This was greatly appreciated. We would unreservedly recommend the Dolomites, Alta Badia, and Chalet Soredl for a group ski holiday. Our thanks to Wally, Luigi and Julia for looking after us so well and making our holiday a big success!
