Our stay at the Funtana Apartments in Alta Badia was simply wonderful! The accommodation is well-kept, clean, and welcoming—perfect for relaxing after a day spent in the beautiful Dolomites. Special thanks to the family who runs the apartments: they are truly kind and helpful. We immediately felt at home. Even our dog was welcomed with great affection—a truly pet-friendly place!

Il nostro soggiorno presso gli Appartamenti Funtana in Alta Badia è stato semplicemente meraviglioso!
L’alloggio è curato, pulito ed accogliente – perfetto per rilassarsi dopo una giornata trascorsa tra le splendide Dolomiti. Un ringraziamento speciale alla famiglia che gestisce gli appartamenti: persone davvero gentili e disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti subito come a casa. Anche il nostro cane è stato accolto con grande affetto – un luogo davvero pet-friendly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Funtana holiday apartment in Alta Badia! The accommodation is very well-maintained, clean, and comfortably furnished – ideal for relaxing after a day in the Dolomites. We would especially like to commend the warm and helpful host family. You feel welcome and well looked after from the very first moment. Our dog was also received with great kindness – we have rarely experienced such pet-friendly accommodation! We will definitely be back!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung Funtana in Alta Badia rundum genossen! Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet – ideal, um sich nach einem Tag in den Dolomiten zu entspannen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberfamilie. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Auch unser Hund wurde mit großer Freundlichkeit aufgenommen – selten haben wir eine so tierfreundliche Unterkunft erlebt! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

All in all, we had a relaxing holiday. The apartment was exactly as described. The location isn't quite as idyllic as the photo suggests, but the bus stop for the on-site shared taxi is less than 20 meters from the front door. So you can confidently leave your car in the on-site parking lot for the duration of your holiday and still easily reach the Piz La Ila cable car valley station in less than 3 minutes. From there, all the skiing opportunities of the vast ski area are at your fingertips. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well-equipped for the available space (unfortunately, there's no kettle, but there is a simple filter coffee machine for coffee lovers), the bathroom is spacious, and the bedroom and living room offer plenty of space and storage. The value for money is excellent. There are plenty of reasons for us to take advantage of the owners' hospitality again next year.

Winterurlaub in Alta Badia
Alles in allem verbrachten wir einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Die Lage ist nicht ganz so idyllisch wie das Photo vermuten lässt, dafür liegt die Busstation für das hauseigene Sammeltaxi keine 20 Meter von der Haustür entfernt. Man kann das eigene Auto also getrost für die Dauer des Urlaubs auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz abstellen und kommt trotzdem - ganz ohne Aufwand - in weniger als 3 Minuten bequem zur Talstation der Piz La Ila-Kabinenbahn. Von dort stehen einem schifahrerisch alle Möglichkeiten des riesigen Skigebietes offen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist dem Platzangebot entsprechend ausgestattet (einen Wasserkocher sucht man leider vergeblich, auf Kaffeeliebhaber wartet eine einfache Filtermaschine), das Badezimmer zeigt sich geräumig, Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer bieten genügend Platz und Stauraum. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überzeugt. Es gibt ausreichend Gründe für uns, im nächsten Jahr erneut die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter in Anspruch zu nehmen.
