This farm is located in a beautiful meadow at the foot of the S. Croce mountain. Here you will find the peace that will give you the possibility to relax. It represents a good starting point for beautiful walks and excursions. The farm is open all the year and the Schenks will be very happy to welcome you at their farm.
Winter is the paradise of the skiers. The ski region of the Dolomiti Superski is the biggest ski area of the world and it offers many possibilities to perform various winter sports. Ski & snowboard are the most famous winter sports and the region offers you not only about 1.200 km of slopes, but also 1.170 km of cross-country ski slopes. Sledge slopes bring you from the refuge to the town. There are also a lot of opportunities for those who don’t like skiing, who can choose among snowshoes, winter walks or ice-skating.
Just a few minutes by car and you can reach the lifts of the Dolomiti Superski. From the lift of S. Croce you can reach the famous ski slope of Gran Risa by ski, where in December the Men’s Giant Slalom of the Ski World Cup takes place, or where you can find the well-known Sellaronda and the ski-slopes of San Cassiano and Corvara.
In 3 minutes by car you can reach the ski area of S. Croce and Gardenazza, from where you can start skiing in the region of Alta Badia and of Plan de Corones. In the typical mountain huts on the ski slopes you will find kindness and very good food.
