A very very comfortable apartment…

…in a strategic position to enjoy the wonderful attractions of the Pusteria Valley… as well as the nearby towns. Otto was a discreet host but attentive to our well-being and took care of every detail of the apartment. The Valley is, as always, hospitable towards tourists and their furry friends… Achille, our Siberian Husky, spent his first week in the mountains and I think he was thrilled. Just one detail… from the apartment balcony we saw, no more than twenty meters away, a family of roe deer (we think… or chamois… who knows… we come from the city :-)). And then Prato alla Drava is such a peaceful little corner… We definitely recommend it.

Apartment Otto Bachmann

We rented the apartment for a week in the beginning of September 2021. Our host Otto was very nice, friendly and very hospitable. The apartment was very well-kept, and we were pleasantly surprised with how well-equipped the apartment was. Prato Allo Drava is a small village, very quiet and in a lovely location. It is still very close to all the places in this area for mountain biking and hiking. I would definitely stay again with Otto and would easily recommend to family and friends to stay in his apartment. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect stay!

We were with a group in a big apartment and it was a really good choice. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was great. Very clean, comfortable, good location.

Exceptionally comfortable apartment!

We spent a week's vacation in Mr. Bachman's luxury apartment. It was a wonderful experience! The apartment, located on the edge of town, is truly splendid, tastefully furnished. The large, bright kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, and the entire house is equipped with modern technology. Everything is top-notch! The owner is extremely kind and helpful. The village is small and quiet. A small supermarket, within walking distance, stocks all the essentials and excellent bread. The ski lifts are a 5-minute drive away (Monte Elmo) and San Candido is 6-7 km away. The Austrian border is just 1 km away, and Lienz can be reached in 30 minutes. Our only concern upon arrival was that the exterior of the house doesn't match the published photographs. The interior of the apartment, however, is even more beautiful and warm than it appears in the photos.

Prato... a fairy tale

Hello everyone, we stayed at Bachmann's in an exceptionally comfortable and well-maintained apartment. The owner was extremely kind and friendly. I found the village to be truly beautiful and relaxing, with a small, reasonably well-stocked supermarket, run by friendly people, where we went in the morning to buy our daily sandwiches.

Relaxation and beauty

Our stay in this house was excellent. Prato alla Drava is not far from San Candido, to which it is connected by a smooth and easy road. It's so well-kept, it feels like a dollhouse village. There's a small, well-stocked market, and it's close to the Versciaco train/lift station and bike rental (we took the cycle path to Lienz). The house is new, clean, fully equipped, quiet, and offers a panoramic view. The owner was extremely kind, so if you're looking for relaxation, beauty, and comfort, it's highly recommended!
