Warm and personal

That our holiday in South Tyrol was so wonderful and unforgettable is also thanks to our hosts. The farm radiates warmth and friendliness; it has character and soul. The apartment was really charmingly furnished, and we lacked nothing. We were even given a heads-up when the alpenglow appeared—a phenomenon we had never experienced before. We were thrilled! The view through the flower-adorned window of the stunning mountain scenery was simply magnificent. It made breakfast taste even better. It was absolutely wonderful.

Unforgettable days in an extraordinary place

While searching for the perfect base to explore the Hochpustertal valley, we came across the Hansenhof. Its location in the Toblach basin proved ideal for exploring the Sexten and Prags Dolomites, and Lakes Antholz and Misurina were also within easy reach. What was so captivating about each return was the feeling of being able to linger amidst the magnificent mountain scenery: the Hansenhof, with its elevated position above the valley and its breathtaking views of the Hochpustertal peaks, seemed to lift us away from the world. This allowed us to find peace and recharge our batteries. The warm hospitality of the Steidl family also played a significant role in this. We enjoyed pleasant conversations, were grateful for helpful tips, and savored the delicious, fresh produce from their farm. Our stay became an unforgettable experience that we would love to repeat next year.

Absolute rest

The farmhouse is located a few kilometers above Dobbiaco in a beautiful panoramic position where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset over the mountains. You can see Dobbiaco from above even at night. It's a great place to relax and take lovely walks in the nearby woods. The hospitality is warm and the apartments are clean and well-equipped. It's also suitable for children because there are many children's parks nearby. I recommend the farm's products; we tried the truly delicious yogurt and jams.

Life on the farm

We spent a wonderful week as guests of the Steidl family. The owners welcomed us warmly and made sure we wanted for nothing during our stay. The property is located above the village of Dobbiaco, in a very quiet and panoramic location, perfect for letting children play freely and for enjoying, even if only a little, the farm life.

Holidays in the Pusteria Valley

The property is located high above Dobbiaco and enjoys a beautiful view of the mountains. We had a great time with the people who run it: a truly lovely family. We hope to return next year.

A little paradise

Wonderful place with breathtaking view. Josef, Maria, Christoph and Elisabeth made us feel like special guests, always smiling and available. We stayed in the Tulpe apartment, which was large, spacious, and recently renovated, like the entire property. Ideal for children with table football, pin pong table and small playground but above all the chance to see the milking and the farm animals. The yogurt and milk are excellent. We can't wait to come back!!

Breathtaking view!

A great summer holiday week in July 2019

My 16-year-old son and I spent a wonderfully relaxing week on the farm. The view and surroundings are beautiful, the family is always helpful and friendly, and the apartment had everything we needed, supplemented by fresh farm produce. The farm is situated in a wonderfully scenic, quiet and idyllic location, yet the village and surrounding mountains with hiking opportunities are easily accessible, offering completely solitary mountain experiences as well as many cable car and family activities. The ping-pong table, the foosball table and decent internet access completed the picture for my older son as well. I will definitely come back.

Wonderful welcome in a wonderful place

We just returned from our stay at the Hansenhof farmhouse: our feedback is overwhelmingly positive! We received a wonderful welcome from the entire family, who immediately treated us like guests rather than customers. Our apartment was spotless, functional, warm, and fully equipped. It also boasts a magnificent and priceless view of the mountains and valley. Furthermore, the hosts were eager to help with any needs or suggestions we had for our vacation. The farm's products, especially the yogurt, are an added bonus, as they are of exceptional quality... A truly unique treat! We hope to return soon!

Great mountain farm with a magnificent view

We spent six wonderful days here. Our daughter practically lived in the cowshed. We enjoyed the homemade yogurt, eggs, and jams, and went hiking every day. In the evenings, we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the breathtaking view of the Dolomites. The farm and the apartment look even better in person than online.

Excellent accommodation, friendly hosts, great holiday
