The Schattseiterhof in Sexten is set in an ideal location for an unforgettable family vacation in the Pustertal valley.The farm has been rebuilt in 1996, but it is one of the oldest farmhouses in Sexten and was first mentioned in the records of 1775. It lies in the midst of a beautiful natural backdrop at 1310m above sea level and features 4 stylishly furnished apartments. In summertime as well as in winter, it is the ideal starting point for many activities.
Sexten is set in the middle of gentle hills and has an amazing view on the majestic peaks of the surrounding Dolomites. It is the starting point for several easy and more difficult hikes and climbing routes. A large variety of activities available from spring to autumn awaits sports lovers. While those, who are looking for peace, regeneration and relaxation, will surely find the right place to let their thoughts run free. Also in winter Sexten has a large variety of activities on offer. The world renowned Drei Zinnen (Three Peaks) can be reached in a short walking distance. There are over 200 well prepared slopes for cross country ski lovers winding all along the Pustertal valley. The skicentre "Helm" is only 5 minutes from the house.
General information about the house and the apartments:
The holiday apartments are situated on the top floor and in the attic of the house. Their furniture is completely made of natural materials (solid wood). The energy is supplied by biomass from the near woods. The house is equipped with an internal hogged wood heating system. All the apartments are newly furnished and dispose of TV sets. Bed linen and fresh bath towels are at your disposal and are changed once a week (for stays longer than 7 days). Free use of the garden (barbecues, …). A free parking space is available for each apartment.
