Beautiful structure and excellent welcome

We stayed here for a few days and I have to say we had a wonderful time. Andrea is very kind and helpful, providing us with helpful information about our interests and always accommodating to any of our requests. The property is in a great location and offers a wonderful view. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. We felt truly at home and were able to relax. I highly recommend both Andrea and his property, and we will definitely be back!

Kindness and lots of attention

A friend of mine and I spent three days at Andrea and Hannes' house towards the end of November 2025. We were completely unprepared for such a warm welcome: the willingness to accommodate our requests for an apartment with a kitchen, the attention to detail (a complimentary gift of delicious homemade raspberry jam, the meticulously clean and tidy spaces, information on transportation and places to visit/eat, even shoveling snow off our windshield), and even the willingness to personally install our snow chains! Not to mention the breathtaking view of San Candido and the Dolomites. Such thoughtful touches made us feel so much more welcome than just guests! We wholeheartedly recommend this property; five stars is too few.

Fantastic experience!

Farmhouse in a strategic position with a panoramic view of San Candido and the surrounding mountains. The studio apartment is new, spacious, tastefully furnished in Alpine style and equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. Andrea is a kind, attentive host, always available to answer any questions or needs her guests may have (and her jams and tea are delicious!). Fantastic experience, highly recommended! Ideal location, clean and beautiful apartment

We spent a week in Apartment Julian at the Schetererhof and had a wonderful time. The farmhouse is located on the mountainside just above Innichen (San Candido), offering a stunning view over the village. The apartment was clean, beautifully furnished, and spacious. The early morning delivery of fresh bread was a very convenient touch. The location is also ideal – from the Schetererhof, we made several excursions, including a hike around the famous Drei Zinnen, as well as beautiful walks at Prato Piazza (highly recommended!) and Lago di Braies. Andrea, was incredibly kind and helped us on numerous occasions – thank you again for that! We were genuinely sad to leave after just one week. Some ideas for other travellers: The road from Toblach to Misurina is a scenic drive with fantastic viewpoints and lakes along the way: Toblacher See (Lago di Dobbiaco), Dürrensee (Lago di Landro), and Misurinasee (Lago di Misurina). The toll road from Misurina to the car park near the Drei Zinnen (Tre Cime) is expensive (€40 and an online reservation is required), but the hike around the peaks is spectacular – although quite busy. Another toll road (€10 – note that you need to arrive before 10:00 am) leads to an even more beautiful hike to the Strudelkopf, with breathtaking views throughout. Pragser Wildsee (Lago di Braies) is also worth a visit. It is very popular with tourists, but if you take the time to walk around the lake, you’ll be rewarded with fantastic viewpoints – and it’s much less crowded.

Peace and comfort

Situated in a prime location with a splendid view of the San Candido valley, easily accessible on foot or by car. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town center, it offers private parking. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable, with a huge terrace overlooking the entire valley and the mountains. The same view can be enjoyed right from your bed, as soon as you wake up in the morning. The on-demand delivery service of fresh produce, both for breakfast and to take away, was also greatly appreciated. Truly spectacular!

Highly professional yet with a family atmosphere

We had a wonderful stay at Scheterhof with a very friendly host family. From booking to the bread delivery service, everything was superbly organized – very professional yet with a personal touch. The apartment was perfectly equipped for self-catering, and even the quality of the beds rounded off the absolutely fantastic experience with its great view!

Lovely accommodation in a perfect location

We felt very comfortable at Andrea's and her family's place. We stayed in one of the two guest rooms, as the apartments were unfortunately already booked, but we were perfectly happy there as well. We truly enjoyed our time on the large terrace with its magnificent mountain panorama. Thanks to the breakfast service, we were able to have a wonderful breakfast. The location of the accommodation is superb – not right in the middle of things – but perfect for us. There's a beautiful view over the village, and you can walk to the center in 10 minutes. The cleanliness of the entire accommodation is also worth mentioning; it was truly remarkable. We would love to come back again; thank you for your warm hospitality!

A little paradise

This farmhouse is in the perfect location: surrounded by greenery and tranquility with a spectacular view of San Candido, yet close to the town's amenities and public transport. The apartment is comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with more than the necessary, and it is impeccably clean. The child really enjoyed the garden with its games. The icing on the cake was the sandwich service: fresh bread and croissants every morning and eggs and jam made on site.

Splendid structure, clean apartment equipped with every comfort

We had a wonderful time! A warm welcome from Mrs. Andrea made us feel right at home. The property is stunning, surrounded by a well-kept estate and boasting a breathtaking view. The apartment is very clean and equipped with every comfort. The tranquility of the place is perfect for a break from the daily grind. The atmosphere is welcoming and bright, and the location offers a spectacular view. We truly lacked for nothing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, feeling at home. We will definitely be back!

Feeling at home

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Andrea, the host, is very attentive to every detail and eager to help with any needs. The breakfast service (upon reservation) and the homemade jams on the table as a welcome gift upon arrival were very nice. The apartment was excellent (with wooden furnishings) and equipped with every comfort, making us feel very comfortable. The view from the farm is something I will never forget. There is also a play area with a bouncy castle where my children could play safely. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Schetererhof as a place to stay in San Candido. Last but not least, the proximity to the San Candido-Lienz bike path. We will definitely be back.

Perfect vacation
