Wonder and cuddles!

We were guests at the Schetererhof apartments from August 6th to 12th. We stayed in an all-wood room (which I love); both the room and the bathroom were super clean, and everything was tidied and cleaned every morning. Mrs. Andrea was precise, attentive to detail, very friendly and kind both during the initial email contacts and when we arrived. He pampered us by bringing warm croissants and fresh yogurt every morning. The room had a very spacious terrace all to ourselves, with a wonderful view of Mount Baranci. What can I say, fantastic stay! If we return to the San Candido area, we will definitely ask Mrs. Andrea for hospitality. Thank you!

Top holiday at the Schetererhof

We had a wonderful time! Andrea gave us a warm welcome. The property is stunning, surrounded by a beautifully maintained park and offering breathtaking views. The apartment is very clean and equipped with every comfort. The tranquility of the place is perfect, and the location offers spectacular views. We lacked nothing and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Great location and wonderful hospitality

We came here by train, and the host came to pick us up straight away, which was such a great service. She also bought breakfast for us every morning, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation itself is in a great location, about a 10-minute walk from the city, and the view was absolutely phenomenal. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday apartment. The surrounding panoramas are absolutely beautiful, and there are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. The roads are well maintained, making it easy to explore the area. The services provided were excellent, and the people were warm, welcoming, and very kind. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

Attention to detail

We were struck by the simplicity of the place, with its silence and views. We really appreciated the attention to detail in the apartment's furnishings, chosen with care and quality. Equally important is the availability of information and reservations for fresh bread for breakfast, with the addition of delicious homemade jams. But above all, it was the kindness, civic sense, and politeness of the entire town that struck us most. We hope and trust to return next year.

Beautiful structure and excellent welcome

We stayed here for a few days and I have to say we had a wonderful time. Andrea is very kind and helpful, providing us with helpful information about our interests and always accommodating to any of our requests. The property is in a great location and offers a wonderful view. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. We felt truly at home and were able to relax. I highly recommend both Andrea and his property, and we will definitely be back!

Kindness and lots of attention

A friend of mine and I spent three days at Andrea and Hannes' house towards the end of November 2025. We were completely unprepared for such a warm welcome: the willingness to accommodate our requests for an apartment with a kitchen, the attention to detail (a complimentary gift of delicious homemade raspberry jam, the meticulously clean and tidy spaces, information on transportation and places to visit/eat, even shoveling snow off our windshield), and even the willingness to personally install our snow chains! Not to mention the breathtaking view of San Candido and the Dolomites. Such thoughtful touches made us feel so much more welcome than just guests! We wholeheartedly recommend this property; five stars is too few.

Fantastic experience!

Farmhouse in a strategic position with a panoramic view of San Candido and the surrounding mountains. The studio apartment is new, spacious, tastefully furnished in Alpine style and equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. Andrea is a kind, attentive host, always available to answer any questions or needs her guests may have (and her jams and tea are delicious!). Fantastic experience, highly recommended! Ideal location, clean and beautiful apartment

We spent a week in Apartment Julian at the Schetererhof and had a wonderful time. The farmhouse is located on the mountainside just above Innichen (San Candido), offering a stunning view over the village. The apartment was clean, beautifully furnished, and spacious. The early morning delivery of fresh bread was a very convenient touch. The location is also ideal – from the Schetererhof, we made several excursions, including a hike around the famous Drei Zinnen, as well as beautiful walks at Prato Piazza (highly recommended!) and Lago di Braies. Andrea, was incredibly kind and helped us on numerous occasions – thank you again for that! We were genuinely sad to leave after just one week. Some ideas for other travellers: The road from Toblach to Misurina is a scenic drive with fantastic viewpoints and lakes along the way: Toblacher See (Lago di Dobbiaco), Dürrensee (Lago di Landro), and Misurinasee (Lago di Misurina). The toll road from Misurina to the car park near the Drei Zinnen (Tre Cime) is expensive (€40 and an online reservation is required), but the hike around the peaks is spectacular – although quite busy. Another toll road (€10 – note that you need to arrive before 10:00 am) leads to an even more beautiful hike to the Strudelkopf, with breathtaking views throughout. Pragser Wildsee (Lago di Braies) is also worth a visit. It is very popular with tourists, but if you take the time to walk around the lake, you’ll be rewarded with fantastic viewpoints – and it’s much less crowded.

Peace and comfort

Situated in a prime location with a splendid view of the San Candido valley, easily accessible on foot or by car. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town center, it offers private parking. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable, with a huge terrace overlooking the entire valley and the mountains. The same view can be enjoyed right from your bed, as soon as you wake up in the morning. The on-demand delivery service of fresh produce, both for breakfast and to take away, was also greatly appreciated. Truly spectacular!

Highly professional yet with a family atmosphere

We had a wonderful stay at Scheterhof with a very friendly host family. From booking to the bread delivery service, everything was superbly organized – very professional yet with a personal touch. The apartment was perfectly equipped for self-catering, and even the quality of the beds rounded off the absolutely fantastic experience with its great view!
