Apartments Casa Schmieder 

In San Candido above the walls of a Roman settlement is House Schmieder located, Innichen’s first ClimaHouse Gold+.
On the second floor you can find two holiday apartments with a great view of the Haunold and the Sextner Dolomites. Here you can experience the advantages of living in a climatically passive house with geothermic heating and cooling.
As the photographer Claudio Covi from the Kromar Studio took the photographs for the pages he asked: "How can we capture the tranquillity which prevails in this house?"
In fact, House Schmieder is located just a few minutes from all of that which makes a stay here so pleasant: 2 minutes walk from the centre of the village, from shops, public houses and churches, from the indoor swimming pool and the bus stop.But nevertheless, tranquillity always prevails. A modern exterior with nostalgic interior, functionally modified furniture taken from an old hotel in Innichen, with generous greenery and car parking. The origins of the Drau river flow close by where you can fly fish for trouts in the private waters.
About Archeology: On the piece of land, where the house stands, there was made the »happy« discovery that the Romans had already lived and worked the land here. A house belonging to the Roman settlement Littamum was exactly there where the house is now.
