The newly renovated, old farmhouse Valtnerhof is situated in the heart of the tiny village of Versciaco that lies 3,5km eastwards of San Candido. Staying at the Valtnerhof you will find in summer as in winter a lot of relax and hospitality. Valtnerhof is an ideal starting point for your excursions into the mountains or by bike. The popular bike route San Candido - Lienz (Austria) along the Drava River passes directly in front of the house. The skiing area of Monte Elmo is only a 5-minutes walk away. In 5 minutes by car or bus you can reach the skiing area Monte Baranci in San Candido, that is very popular with families, also because of its long toboggan run. In front of the farmhouse you’ll also find cross country ski trails.
