The farm is situated just 1.5 km from San Candido / Innichen and is completely surrounded by meadows in a very sunny and quiet location. The center of the village can be easily reached on foot via a hiking trail in 15 minutes.
In summer, the house is an ideal starting point for many excursions and bike tours. A few steps from the farm there is a fence with deer and fallow deer. In winter, cross-country skiers can find the trail directly in front of the house.
The ski area Monte Elmo is located about 1 km from the Wiesthalerhof and the Baranci ski area about 2.5 km.
