The residence dates back to the 18th century and was used over the years for various purposes; for some time this was supposedly a monastery. The nuns who lived there bred black cocks, hence the name.
In the twentieth century, a slow and progressive decay began, until in 2014 the Bebber family acquired the entire building and began the renovation work in November 2015.
Both the projects and many works were carried out directly by the owner Paolo, who likes to call himself an architect-builder.
After careful analysis, the entire house was renovated. The various apartments, ideal for families, have thus been created, with large common areas such as the large living room with fireplace and the covered terrace. There you can relax with a good glass of wine from the organic farm.
In the evening, some guests may have the honour of meeting the spirit of the nun Matilda, the last abbess of the monastery.
The renovation project has returned to the village a true architectural gem, well integrated into the surrounding area.
