The Villa Iagra is an ancient building dating from 1794, it has been completely renovated with criteria of environmental compatibility, but has preserved the architectural features and offers every comfort. The villa is located above the Val d’Ampola and on the homonymous lake, the nature reserve and the biotopo, and is surrounded by two hectares of unique forest meadow, which offer guests peace and relaxation.
Villa Iagra owes its name to the Latin language. The place was the only swamp wall, which was suitable for the cultivation of the few foods such as cereals and legumes at that time.
Villa Iagra is accessible by a private road, starting from the road 240 or the ancient Trocc. The private road is 2.5 kilometers long, connects Tiarno with Lake Ampola and is suitable for beautiful walks in the green.
Not far from Villa Iagra, the cycling routes between the residential areas of Ledro and the lake of the same name start as numerous more or less demanding trekking and walking trails (Tremalzo, Nozzolo, Cadria, Stigolo, Val, Malghe...) always in the green area. Not to mention the short distance with the Rio Nero and the Palvico (the ambassador of Lake Ampola), which the canyoning fans know very well.
Villa Iagra is especially appreciated by wide families or encounters with friends who are looking for peace and quiet.
