The Batcheuy is a small paradise surrounded by meadows, apple orchards and other fruit trees, streams and flowers, close to the woods. It is located just 700 meters above sea level, in Saint Marcel in the central valley of the Aosta Valley, a strategic position if you want to visit other side valleys, or if you want a more cultural holiday in the town of Aosta or in the surrounding castles. The location of the hut is also dominated by nature, which wins above mass tourism. There you can find the most rustic kind of mountain, where the walking routes may reach from 700 to 2500 m above sea level.
The cottage looks very characteristic: everything made of wood, from the furniture to the walls to the ceiling, with the old wooden beams and the small windows with grids. The ground floor consists of a kitchen with everything you need (except the dishwasher!) and a large living area, while the upper floor consists of two bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds. The bathroom with shower is newly renovated. In the area in front of the cottage there is a garden with deck chairs, barbecue and fountain. In Batcheuy there is also another adjoining cottage, completely independent, which belongs to the same owners.
