Sonia and Mauro run Case Vacanza Valereusa in the pretty valley of Valnontey in Cogne.
The owners have restored the grandparents’ home and since 1989 Case Vacanza Valereusa is family-run.

Everything is excellent

I stayed at this property for 11 days in August. We had a really great time. Sonia and Mauro are very kind and helpful people and they also gave us excellent advice for excursions. The rooms are clean, and the building is very well-kept, both inside and out (I noticed that it was often photographed by tourists passing by on their excursions). The property is located above Cogne, at the entrance to the Gran Paradiso National Park, in a hamlet with a good choice of restaurants for evening dinner. The entire valley is well connected to Cogne (just a few kilometers from Valnontey) and the other villages by a fairly frequent bus network. Cogne and the other villages are also easily accessible via walks in the woods. The breakfast was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Kindness for a great holiday!

We stayed at the Meublé Valereusa hotel for five days and it was an extremely pleasant stay! The hotel is a quaint property, easy to reach, in a beautiful location, and very convenient for hiking and various activities (it also has convenient private parking). The owners, Sonia and Mauro, were extremely welcoming, kind, and always available to provide helpful information and suggestions. Comfortable and quiet room, rich breakfast (the cakes were really excellent... and everything else too). Definitely recommended!
