We spent our holidays in this apartment in February. The apartment is very nice, spacious and has floor heating. We enjoyed the stay very much. The owners are very kind. We definitely will come back.

Perfect base for skiing

As a family of four we stayed in Apartment 3 in January 2016 and it was just what we wanted from self-catering accommodation. We would recommend the apartments for any holiday in the region but especially skiing. The apartment is clean and tidy as you would expect in a new building but has also kept to the traditional style. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating, good large bathrooms and everything you need in the kitchen. Ski and boot storage available and car parking is easy and close. You do need a car to get the best from the location but it is only 5 minutes to Arabba, Alleghe and Cortina are also close. There is a good shop and butcher next door, along with a bar and a couple of restaurants. Walter and Monica were very hospitable and helpful and as locals they know all the places and people to help make a stay a little bit more interesting. We will be staying again when we next come to Arabba skiing.

Our Italian "home"

Having recently returned from our 4th stay at the Apartments Boe, we have decided that we cannot keep this hidden gem to ourselves any longer. During each of the last two skiing seasons, we have rented one of the apartments for a couple of months. In our opinion, Pieve is an ideal base for such a holiday as, whilst you do need a car to get to the slopes, you can easily reach not only Arabba and therefore the Sella Ronda, but also the less popular areas of Cinque Torri and Civetta, with Cortina only a little further away. You also need your own transport if you intend to eat out regularly, as opportunities to eat locally are limited, but the local shop is well stocked and reasonably priced and the apartments well equipped for self catering. (In fact, if skiing, the mountain restaurants are plentiful and generally very good - so eating well at lunchtime is a good alternative.) In fact the apartments are exceptionally well presented, with high quality fittings and comfortable furniture (especially the beds) and are always spotlessly clean. But the best thing about renting one of these apartments is undoubtedly the hospitality and friendliness of the owners, Walter and Monica. They will meet you and tell you everything you need to know about the area and are on hand if you have any questions during your stay - nothing is too much trouble - in our experience. We are not at all surprised that they have had such positive comments from previous reviewers. We have now also had two summer visits to Pieve and the Apartments Boe, and have had equally enjoyable stays. We certainly hope to return again soon.
