Perfect location and great value for money

In many ways a perfect place and surely one of the places with the best value for money in the area of Kronplatz. The location in the charming village of Gais is also as ideal as possible: - only 10 minutes from the Cron 4 spa center and the nearest ski gondola in Kronplatz, - local supermarket and ski bus stations within 3 minutes of walking, - lovely views in all directions. The apartment is spacious and full of light. The owners are yet another reason why we enjoyed every minute of our skiing holiday in Winklerhof.

Very nice owners and great rooms

The apartment was comfortable and nice. Whatever you need is already there and if you have extra wishes the owners will be only too happy to oblige. Owners were friendly and helpful! We were there for skiing, and they had a great storage room. The internet was perfect, and the area is peaceful. It's close to the supermarket. Congratulations to family Mairhofer and see you next year for sure.

Spacious rooms, very kind hosts!

The family Mayerhof was very kind to answer to our many questions before our arrival, very promptly, in English. All apartments are very spacious, well equipped, ski-room is available. Hosts were very kind and helpful. The swimming pool facilities are great, with five large pools, located very close to Kronplatz which is 10 minutes driving from the apartments. We are very satisfied with our accommodation and the overall ski and fun experience we had.

Great Accomodation!

We spent a beautiful 6 night in Gais. The apartments have all necessary amenities you need in your holiday, they are spacious, they have two bedrooms with bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, they are warm and sunny, clean and the wifi is good. The owners are friendly and helpful, we also got tickets for swimming in Cron4. The location is quiet and very good: the supermarket, restaurants, bars are very close to the appartments. Brunico and ski slopes are easy to reach, Gais is beautiful and there are many walking paths. As we were a quite large group (11 adults and 8 children), we had 4 appartments and this accomodation was perfect for us and we will certainly come back again.

Top quality service

We have spent a very nice ski week in the house of very friendly and attentive family Mairhofer. The most pleasant surprise we experienced was when, after returning from the ski day, we were welcomed back with a cake as a birthday present for my husband. The apartment where we stayed in was very big, clean and nicely decorated and the house itself is located in a quiet place and stands back from the road so the children can feel free to stay outside, in front of the house. Although the house is a little farther from the Kronplatz ski area (around 10 km) the ski slopes can be reached very easily and quickly. The roads are cleaned from snow very fast and well so the distance is not a problem, on the contrary. Eventually a small suggestion to the family, Wi-Fi network should be strengthened because at times, due to the workload, becomes unavailable. Once again, thank you Mairhofer family for the lovely stay. We will definitely come back!

Very friendly hosts

The hosts were very friendly. Large rooms, comfortable beds, good temperature inside. The kitchen well equipped, towels and sheets available. Very good internet access (wifi).

Winklerhof 2014

Winklerhof offers a various set of apartments of very high quality at sensible prices. Apartments are modern with all the necessary equipment, everything is very clean, tidy and well organized. Such commodities as flat-screen Tv, wi-fi, ski-boot drying devices in ski room come as standard. Localization is very quiet and peaceful with a nice view. The hosting family is very nice and helpful. Fantastic holiday, family atmosphere

It was my 6th visit in Dolomites and for the 6th time we spent our holiday in the Farmhouse Winklerhof. The apartments have all necessary amenities you need for spending your holiday time in the beautiful area of Italian Dolomites. The apartments mostly consist of two separate bedrooms (2-3 beds in each) and one kitchen/living room, where you can find everything needed for self catering. Owners family is very pleasant and helpful: this is one of the main reasons why we are staying there each winter.
