The apartment is located in a very quiet and sunny area. Very close to the wood, to Mount Pomagagnon and to Punta Fiames, in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the "Queen of the Dolomites", which has been declared a UNESCO site. Cortina is well known for skiing and all winter sports, in an uniquely beautiful location, that counts over 140 km of ski runs, on which the Ski World championship took place in 2011. In Cortina you can also find an ice rink, you can make snowshoe and alpine skiing excursions; in summertime, it is one of the favourite destinations for hikers, climbers, mountain bike lovers, bike riders, families with small children, and young people looking for adventures. It is a renowned centre for jet set, cultural activities and exhibitions.
The flat lies about two kilometres from the centre, near the bus stop, where you will be able to get on a bus going either to the city centre or to the ski runs; in a only five minute long walk you can reach our cross country ski runs during wintertime, and these same routes become lovely paths or cycle lanes in summertime, belonging to the Dolomites cycling ring, which heads to Belluno, Val Pusteria and Austria. The flat is an attic on the second floor, with a panoramic view of Mount Cristallo, Mount Faloria and Mount Tofana.
