Quietly located between the valley and the forests, the Villa offers a magnificent view over the surrounding mountains. In the winter season, the ski slopes are in walking distance.
The Villa features a large parking area and a beautiful garden with trees and flowers.
Even during the high season, you will find yourself in an oasis of calm.
San Vito is a pretty mountain town at 1011 meters above sea level, surrounded by majestic peaks such as the Antelao, the Pelmo and Croda Marcora. Thanks to their uniqueness and beauty, the Dolomites were proclaimed a UNESCO Natural Heritage in 2010.

Perfect location and recommended for traveling with pets

We spent a completely peaceful week with our two dogs. The apartment is located just outside the city center, only a 5-10 minute walk away. It was clean, well-equipped with a kitchen, and had a private entrance—ideal for those traveling with pets. An important point: even the other dogs in the building were always kept on a leash! The owner was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation!

A relaxing stay and fantastic excursions

We stayed at Villa Belvedere for two weeks, staying in the small apartment with a terrace overlooking Mount Pelmo. Villa Belvedere is just a few minutes' walk from the center of San Vito and is located above the town center, allowing you to escape the traffic and noise while enjoying the fresh air. The house has free guest parking and a beautiful garden with flowers and fruit trees where guests can relax after long hikes. Fiorella is a very helpful and courteous hostess; she lives at Villa Belvedere, so she's easy to contact. If you're lucky, like us, you'll also enjoy the background music of Maestro Manhart, who also lives at Villa Belvedere. The apartment is very clean, stylishly furnished, and very comfortable (there are closets and storage spaces, which is uncommon in small apartments). From Villa Belvedere and San Vito, you can enjoy numerous hikes, including those at high altitude. Not only Mount Pelmo and Mount Antelao, but a short drive (maximum 40 minutes) also takes you to the trails to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo or Lake Sorapiss. Don't miss a stop at Passo Giau, a spectacular spot with 360° views of the Dolomites. Several trails depart from Passo Giau. From Villa Beledere, you can reach the Scotter, San Marco and Galassi refuges on foot (the latter with a more challenging route). Cyclists and mountain bikers can rent bikes in the center of San Vito. The old railway line is very interesting. From Villa Belvedere, you can walk to the San Vito cooperative, the award-winning Fiori bakery (which also sells cheeses and cured meats) with its adjoining pastry shop, and the De Villa butcher shop. We recommend the Fiori bakery and pastry shop and the De Villa butcher shop. We also really enjoyed the Stuzzica la Voglia pizzeria.

Soggiorno in pieno relax ed escursioni fantastiche

Siamo stati a Villa Belvedere due settimane e abbiamo soggiornato nell’appartamento piccolo con terrazza con vista sul monte Pelmo. Villa Belvedere dista pochi minuti a piedi dal centro di San Vito e si trova in posizione elevata rispetto al centro del paese: questo permette di allontanarsi dal traffico, dal rumore e di godere del fresco. La casa ha un parcheggio gratuito per gli ospiti e un bel giardino con fiori e alberi da frutto dove gli ospiti possono rilassarsi dopo lunghe escursioni. La signore Fiorella è una padrona di casa molto disponibile e cortese, abita a Villa Belvedere, quindi si può contattare facilmente. Se poi sarete fortunati come noi, potrete anche godere del sottofondo musicale del maestro Manhart, che vive a Villa Belvedere.
L’appartamento è molto pulito, arredato in stile e molto comodo (ci sono armadi e spazi per riporre tutti i propri oggetti, cosa non comune negli appartamenti piccoli).
Da Villa Belvedere e da San Vito si possono fare numerose escursioni anche in quota. Non solo il Pelmo e l’Antelao ma con un breve tragitto in macchina (massimo 40’) si possono raggiungere i sentieri per le Tre Cime di Lavaredo o per il Lago Sorapiss. Da non perdere una sosta a Passo Giau posto spettacolare con una vista a 360° sulle Dolomiti.Da Passo Giau partono diversi sentieri.
Da Villa Beledere, a piedi, si possono raggiungere i rifugi Scotter, San Marco e Galassi (quest’ultimo con un percorso più impegnativo).
I ciclisti o gli amanti della Mountain Bike possono noleggiare bici in centro a San Vito. Molto interessante il percorso dell’antica ferrovia.
Da Villa Belvedere si possono raggiungere a piedi la cooperativa di San Vito, il Premiato Panificio Fiori (dove è possibile acquistare anche formaggi e salumi) con l’annessa pasticceria e la macelleria De Villa. Consigliamo il panificio-pasticceria Fiori e la Macelleria De Villa. Abbiamo anche gradito molto la pizzeria Stuzzica la Voglia.

I will miss your garden with its wild flowers, the fruit trees climbing against the wall, the family atmosphere you breathe, I will miss the cool afternoons in front of Pelmo and the peaks of Antelao and Sorapiss that glow at sunset. We had a good time

We had a great time. Mrs. Fiorella De Lotto is incredibly kind and discreet. The location is wonderful, with a splendid view of Mount Pelmo, just a 10-minute walk from the center of San Vito di Cadore. Beautiful garden and convenient parking are also available. Absolutely peaceful. If you want to relax and unwind from the stresses of city life, this is the perfect place. We'll be back.

Places of the heart!

Apartment with a fantastic view of Mount Pelmo, equipped with everything you need. Comfortable mattresses and a bathroom with two windows, a beautiful garden, and convenient parking. Near Villa Belvedere, there's a fountain with a continuous flow of pure water. This is a magical place, the perfect choice for those who love the mountains, especially the Cadore Dolomites.

Great scenery, quiet, dreamy ski resort, good infrastructure, nice hostess, everything wonderful. The apartment is a bit older, but spacious and functionally furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped!

Nice place

My mom and I had a short stay but we had a really good time. We found the apartment very well organized and equipped with everything we needed. I've had experience in other apartments, but many things were always missing. Nice view from the windows. Convenient for Cortina.
