Wonderful week in Chiappera

I spent a week in the La Bandio holiday apartment in June, at the beginning of the season. The little house is located at the edge of the village, and in the morning you have a wonderful view of the mountains opposite from the bedroom window. The sound of the stream is part of the experience – I loved it. The welcome and service from the hosts were excellent. The apartment is newly furnished with great attention to detail. It's not very large, but you can use the small courtyard or the patio below the house. Or you could stop by the Rifugio di Chiappera across the street for an aperitivo and a delicious dinner. The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, grill, cutlery, and dishes. There's also a washing machine, and our hostess even did some laundry for us – wonderful to only have to hang up freshly scented clothes after a hike. There are many options for tours directly from the house. There are two more bed and breakfast rooms on the lower floor. If they're occupied, the very discreet but always very accommodating hostess is there. I'd gladly come back! Besides Italian, you can also communicate perfectly well with your hosts in French.
