These lodges are in Rutte Piccolo, facing the magnificent mountains range called Ponze and dominated by Mangart, the second highest peak of the area. The location is easily reachable from the road going from Tarvisio to Slovenia and represents a strategic starting point to discover the surroundings, characterized by a very interesting cultural mix of the neighbouring countries: Italy, Slovenia and Austria.
The houses, surrounded by wide and open meadows, where it’s also possible to see roe deers walking, are suitable for families (travel folding bed and high chair for kids will be provided upon request), families with dogs and people who love nature, calmness and mountain sports.
Rutte Piccolo is a very relaxed and quiet village where the only activity is the neighbour’s farm, selling fresh milk every day.
The lodges are simple and cheerful: they are fully equipped for everyday living, but they don’t have a dishwasher, and the laundry area with washing machine and dryer is in the basement on the back side of the main building.
Every apartment has just one parking lot identified with the number of the apartment itself.
On the ground floor of the Heidi’s barn there is an open library with hiking maps and books of the area.
Each house supplies a small guide of the area and an alluminium water bottle to bring with you during hiking trips.
