A relaxing holiday

In June 2026, our couple stayed in a beautiful holiday apartment with exceptionally high-quality furnishings and a large south-facing balcony. The magnificent view captivated us upon arrival. The hosts are incredibly warm, attentive, and always open to suggestions regarding the apartment. We felt welcome from the very first moment. The lovingly furnished apartment, featuring wonderfully fragrant wood, including Swiss pine, truly lacked for nothing. Every morning, we appreciated the convenient bread and roll delivery service. The selection of baked goods was outstanding. The family-run farm is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters, directly on the quiet road between Verano and Ljubljana. The local bus stops right outside the door and can be used free of charge with the guest card. It runs to Bolzano and, via Ljubljana (with a transfer), to Merano. This makes both cities easily accessible without a car. In addition, the cable car from Vöran, which is about a 20- to 25-minute walk away, offers a direct connection to Burgstall. We hardly needed our car during the entire week. We were particularly impressed by the numerous hiking trails that start right at the farm. After short hikes, you reach, among other places, the famous Knottnkinos viewpoints, which offer breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Another plus is the pleasant climate on the Tschögglberg. Compared to the Adige Valley around Merano, Lana, or Burgstall, the temperatures here are significantly milder, ensuring pleasantly cool and restful nights even in summer. The complete package of accommodation, stunning location and views, excellent transport links, warm hospitality, and outstanding value for money completely won us over. We will definitely be back – and we're already looking forward to it.

Urlaub zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben im Juni 2026 als Paar eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit einer außergewöhnlich hochwertigen Ausstattung und einem großen Südbalkon bewohnt. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft hat uns der herrliche Ausblick begeistert. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen herzlich, aufmerksam und stets offen für Anregungen rund um die Ferienwohnung. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. In der liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung, die mit wunderbar duftendem Holz, unter anderem Zirbenholz, ausgestattet ist, hat es uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Jeden Morgen nutzten wir gerne den praktischen Brötchen- und Brotservice. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Backwaren ist hervorragend. Der familiengeführte Hof liegt auf etwa 1.200 Metern Höhe direkt an der wenig befahrenen Verbindungsstraße zwischen Vöran und Hafling. Direkt vor der Haustür hält der Linienbus, der mit der Gästekarte kostenlos genutzt werden kann und sowohl nach Bozen als auch über Hafling (mit Umstieg) nach Meran fährt. So lassen sich beide Städte bequem und ohne eigenes Auto erreichen. Ergänzend dazu bietet die Seilbahn ab Vöran, das in etwa 20 bis 25 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist, eine direkte Verbindung nach Burgstall. Unser Auto haben wir während der gesamten Woche kaum benötigt. Besonders begeistert haben uns die zahlreichen Wanderwege, die direkt am Hof beginnen. Nach kurzen Wanderungen erreicht man unter anderem die bekannten Knottnkinos, von denen sich beeindruckende Ausblicke ins Tal und auf die umliegende Bergwelt bieten. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das angenehme Klima auf dem Tschögglberg. Im Vergleich zum Etschtal rund um Meran, Lana oder Burgstall sind die Temperaturen hier deutlich milder und sorgen auch im Sommer für angenehm kühle und erholsame Nächte. Das Gesamtpaket aus Unterkunft, traumhafter Lage und Aussicht, hervorragender Verkehrsanbindung, herzlicher Gastfreundschaft und einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat uns vollkommen überzeugt. Wir werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen – und die Vorfreude darauf hat bereits begonnen.
