Dream vacation in the Dolomites

We spent some truly wonderful days at Colle Santa Lucia. The house immediately struck us with its character: it's beautiful, welcoming, and retains all the charm of a mountain home, with lots of wood and a truly special atmosphere. The thing that moved us most was undoubtedly the view. The view of the Dolomites, with Pelmo, Civetta, Monte Pore, and the Val Fiorentina, is something you'll never forget. Every morning was a different surprise, and we often found ourselves simply gazing out the window. The house is impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The comfort was also excellent: the bed and mattresses were incredibly comfortable, and most importantly, it was incredibly quiet at night. We also really appreciated the location, perfect as a base for visiting Cortina d'Ampezzo and easily reaching Val Badia and Val Gardena. The private parking is a really convenient plus. The book left by the hosts is very beautiful and useful, full of tips for making the most of the area and discovering even less obvious places. Finally, a special mention goes to Sisto and Loren, who welcomed us with such kindness and helpfulness. You can clearly see the care and passion they put into their home and their hospitality. It's one of those places where you leave already thinking about when you'll be able to return. We really hope we can!

Best place for mountain holidays

A truly special stay, in a place that immediately won us over. The house is located in the heart of the historic center of Colle Santa Lucia and is truly a gem: the atmosphere is warm, authentic, and meticulously maintained. The wood, furnishings, and impeccable cleanliness made us feel right at home. The view of the Dolomites is spectacular. Looking out and seeing Mount Pelmo, Mount Civetta, Mount Pore, and the Fiorentina Valley is a feeling hard to describe, especially in the early morning hours, when the light makes the landscape even more evocative. We found the house extremely comfortable and quiet, and slept wonderfully. It truly has everything you need for a relaxing few days. The private parking and the availability of parking spaces right in front of the house are also very convenient. The location is also strategic for exploring some of the most beautiful areas of the Dolomites, from Cortina to Val Badia, Val Gardena... A special mention goes to the hosts, Sisto and Loren: incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive, they make you feel welcome without ever being intrusive. The house book is also very helpful, full of tips and suggestions, much appreciated for exploring the area. We left our hearts in this magical place, not only for the beauty of the house and the view, but for the atmosphere we experienced. It was a stay we will fondly remember and one we can't wait to return to.

A little corner of paradise, perfect for your holiday

For a few years, we'd been trying to spend our summer vacation in Colle Santa Lucia, but with rooms already sold out and timing constraints, it never felt like the right time. This year, with a bit of luck, we managed to find a place in Loren and Sisto's beautiful apartment. The location was perfect as a starting point for excursions in the area, and the apartment was meticulously designed, with everything we needed to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Loren and Sisto were available for any need. The absolute plus is obviously the apartment's very central location, which also guarantees a covered parking space: a significant advantage. Our stay here was worth all the years we've waited for, and it allowed us to discover a corner of the Dolomites where we'll definitely return, always at the "Balcone sul Civetta."
