Balcone sul Civetta, a lovely apartment located in the historic center of the municipality of Colle Santa Lucia, a small mountain village set in the heart of the Dolomites, at 1453 metres above sea level, within a UNESCO World Natural Heritage area. It is the ideal place to slow down, breathe fresh mountain air and enjoy an authentic alpine experience. Thanks to its central location, many famous Dolomite destinations are easily reachable: Cortina d’Ampezzo is about 30 km away, as well as Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, Livinallongo del Col di Lana and Alleghe. Venice, around two hours by car, is perfect for a day trip rich in art and history.
Discover the village’s Ladin heritage by exploring the historic centre, the Ladin Cultural Institute "Ciesa de Jan", the ancient Fursil Mines and the charming Church of Saint Lucy, originally Gothic with later Baroque and Rococo elements. Nearby, the "Strada de la Vena" trail leads to the impressive Andraz Castle.
