Padola is a small village, but there are all the necessary services for daily life and it is very centrally located for visiting refuges or mountain huts within reach of adults and children, on foot or by bike, for visiting Misurina and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Val Pusteria and Austria, Sappada and Friuli or the Cadore centre.
