The bathroom is completely renovated, modern, and equipped with a comfortable shower. The kitchen, both simple and functional, can be completely hidden behind closable doors. The all-wood dining room, typical of mountain homes, creates a warm atmosphere. We spent these days in total tranquility and relaxation, immersed in the green landscape warmed by the first autumn colors. There was no shortage of excitement, including the opportunity to observe the slopes hardest hit by the disastrous storm that swept through centuries-old forests in 2018, and the locals tirelessly sorting the recovered and neatly arranged wood. The nearby Paneveggio Natural Park afforded us views of the Pale di San Martino, and more: just a short distance from the Information Center, families of deer can easily be admired at close range, even though they are protected. After extensively exploring the splendid Fiemme Valley and its quaint villages, savoring the typical flavors of traditional cuisine, the nearby Fassa Valley offers further moments of true wonder. Our host made organizing our vacation easy by providing helpful tips on where to eat and what to see, all gathered in a booklet, along with numerous maps of trails and places of interest. And, truly helpful, a video on how to turn on the heating, water heater, electricity, and water utilities, and, last but not least, how to manage waste separation. Il bagno è completamente ristrutturato, moderno e dotato di comoda doccia. La cucina, essenziale e funzionale al contempo, è completamente occultabile dietro ante richiudibili. La sala da pranzo tutta in legno, tipica delle abitazioni montane, crea una calda atmosfera. Abbiamo vissuto questi giorni in totale tranquillità e relax, immersi nel verde paesaggio scaldato dai primi colori autunnali. Non sono mancate le emozioni, tra le quali il potere osservare lungo il nostro girovagare i versanti più colpiti dal disastroso fortunale che nel 2018 ha come "pettinato" boschi secolari, e la gente del luogo che instancabile sta selezionando il legname recuperato ed ordinatamente sistemato. Il vicino Parco Naturale di Paneveggio ci ha regalato la vista sulle Pale di San Martino, e non solo: a poca distanza dal Centro informativo, famiglie di cervi possono facilmente essere ammirate a distanza ravvicinata, pur se protetta. Dopo aver visitato in lungo e in largo la splendida Valle di Fiemme ed i suoi caratteristici abitati, assaporando i sapori tipici della cucina tradizionale, la vicina Val di Fassa offre altri momenti di vera meraviglia. La padrona di casa ha reso facile l’organizzazione della nostra vacanza mettendo a disposizione utili consigli sul "dove mangiare" e sul "cosa vedere", il tutto raccolto in un book, e numerose carte dei sentieri e luoghi di interesse. E, davvero molto utile, un video su come effettuare l’accensione del riscaldamento, dello scaldabagno, delle utenze luce e acqua e non ultimo la gestione della raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti. Una struttura residenziale ottimamente tenuta e gradevole, con a disposizione un bel verde condominiale. La nostra cagnolina è stata ben accetta e ha trascorso come noi, in totale comfort, una splendida vacanza che, se possibile, sarà da ripetere, magari al prossimo compleanno!
