Above St. Ulrich/Ortisei, at an altitude of around 1,500 metres, lies the small and romantic mountain village of Pufels – a place that combines the charm of untouched nature with deep-rooted tradition. We wanted to share this mountain idyll with others. At the turn of the millennium, we opened the Arbea Apartments there.

We live in and with nature. The three apartments were built according to strict ecological standards, with energy efficiency and sustainability in mind. They are comfortably furnished with great attention to detail.

Our guests’ sleeping comfort is particularly important to us: the bedrooms are fitted with high-quality double beds from Villgrater Natur – entirely metal-free, with specially patented mattresses made of latex and sheep’s wool, for a healthy, deep, and restorative sleep.

The Val Gardena summer and winter ski bus stops right outside our guesthouse and takes you directly to St. Ulrich. You are welcome to borrow our e-bikes or charge your electric car at our garage charging station. Thanks to the Mobil Card, all public transport in South Tyrol is free of charge for you.
You can take part in the wide range of Val Gardena Active activities either free of charge or at a discounted rate. In addition, our guests enjoy free entry to the Mar Dolomit indoor and outdoor swimming pool in St. Ulrich.
