Not far away from the Arpa Chalet is the sunny plateau of Monte Pana - Alpe di Siusi, a natural paradise which is surrounded by the impressive mountains of Sassolungo and Sassopiatto. It is not just a starting point for exciting walking-hiking paths, demanding via ferratas and numerous mountain-bike trails in the summer, but rather also a beautiful location for winter sports like skiing and cross-country skiing. Furthermore, the ski area Monte Pana is located in the world’s largest ski area, the Dolomiti Superski and is connected with slopes that lead you directly to the world-famous Sella Ronda.
