The organic farmstay Mairinghof is located on a high plateau at 1,450 m above sea level on the Nördersberg near Schlanders. It is situated in a sunny position with stunning, panoramic views.
Departing directly from the farm, you will find both leisurely and challenging hikes. You can also experience the day-to-day activities of running a farm, and gain insights into organic farming and agricultural methods. Guests are also invited to taste the farm’s bounty and home-made products.
In the winter, the farm is an ideal starting point for winter hikes, ski tours and snowshoe excursions (snowshoes can be provided by the farm).
The holiday apartments are furnished in Swiss stone pine, larch and spruce wood. They are heated using wood from the surrounding forests, while the water is heated using solar energy.
With a little luck, you will be able to observe the local fauna, such as deer and roe deer, directly from your apartment. The local fox makes his daily rounds right past the farm.
