Excellent hospitality

This is the third year that my daughter, our dachshund Floh, and I have been staying with Walter and Rosina Lechthaler in Malles. We're having a wonderful time, as evidenced by the fact that we drive over 700 km to enjoy this vacation. Much of the credit goes to the hospitality we find at Walterhof, as well as the beauty of the location. The sound of the wind and a stream flowing near the house, the pleasant scents of the countryside, and the advantages already described make this destination particularly recommendable. Holiday in Malles

It was our first vacation in Malles and the Venosta Valley. We loved both the apartment and the experience of exploring the area. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The farm's location was convenient for hiking, public transportation, and the town center.

Enchanted landscape

This was my second stay at this place, which meant so much to me, making you feel at home. The owners, Mr. Walter and Mrs. Rosina, are welcoming and helpful. The apartment is warm and clean, with everything you need. The location is strategic, and the view from the terrace is picture-perfect. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area and its surroundings.

Beautiful holidays

The Lechthaler family is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the asking price is very reasonable. The apartment is just outside the village, making it convenient for shopping and accessing other services, as well as for beautiful walks. The central location is ideal for a variety of excursions in the nearby side valleys and the Ortler mountain range, ranging from woodland hikes to high altitude hikes to beautiful glaciers. Furthermore, Malles and several nearby villages offer a wealth of interesting cultural attractions, from castles to museums, churches, and ancient, rare, and sometimes unique works of art! For our family of five, it was an extremely satisfying holiday!

Excellent value for money

This was our first visit to the Walterhof farm. We spent seven days there for our winter holiday. Right from the start, we were impressed by the Lechthaler family's farm. It's a lovely little farm where you feel very comfortable. Parking is available on the premises. The farm is located on the outskirts of Mals, yet the town center is easily accessible for grocery shopping. We received a very warm welcome from the Lechthaler family and immediately felt at home. We stayed in one of the two attic apartments. The apartment is comfortably furnished: there is a bedroom with a small TV, a kitchen with a refrigerator and gas stove, a bathroom, and a balcony. All the rooms were very clean, which is the most important criterion for us on vacation. The ski resorts of Watles and Nauders are less than a 15-minute drive away. Mals is therefore very centrally located for winter sports, and there are many beautiful places to discover. The Lechthaler family is always available to answer any questions. We will definitely spend our vacation here again. The price-performance ratio is absolutely excellent. Therefore, we highly recommend this accommodation.

We are a family of four with two children. We had a wonderful holiday in the spacious and bright apartments; the owners are very helpful and kind. The mountain cheese is also excellent. The location is ideal for various excursions.

Beautiful holiday

We just spent three weeks in this wonderful place and had such a great time, it's our second year back. The apartments are spacious and clean, and it's perfect for families with children because it has a garden with a playground. It's conveniently located near the town and is ideal for hiking. The owners are very kind.

Have a nice holiday!

We spent a week's vacation at this property, and we felt completely at ease. The apartment, small and charming, is clean, well-organized, and comfortable. Just a few minutes' walk from the town center, it offers a magnificent view from the terrace. The host family is friendly, approachable, and makes you feel at home. The price-quality ratio is excellent, and the location is excellent for hiking.

Quiet, welcoming and clean

We stayed in July 2016 and were very pleased with the apartment and the welcome. The owners are very kind, helpful, and discreet, and are happy to talk, both to provide information about local attractions and excursions, and to explain the rural reality faced by the local population. The house's location is strategic for getting around on foot or by bike, as well as for accessing the main road, yet it's very quiet. The apartments are clean and equipped with everything you need. It's an ideal setting for families, even with small children (fenced-in play area). Excellent value for money. We hope to return next year.

Beautiful little vacation
