A fairytale holiday

There are no words to describe this wonderful place. We were guests, along with our dogs Lilla and Penny, of Ettore and Antonella, two wonderful people who immediately made us feel at home. From their farm you can enjoy a breathtaking view, and the peace that reigns is interrupted only by the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back!

A place of peace, quiet and relaxation

The beautiful, modern and stylishly furnished mountain chalet is a place of peace, quiet and pure relaxation. A well-maintained high-altitude trail with magnificent views of the valley and the surrounding mountains begins right at the chalet. The cozy atmosphere of the establishment offers everything needed for a pleasant stay. The exquisite paintings on the walls and furniture are particularly noteworthy. We enjoyed every hour of our stay! Breakfast alone, on the sunny terrace with its incomparable mountain panorama, will remain unforgettable. Highest recommendations and many thanks.

Peace of mind

We stayed a week in the magnificent Arnica chalet and the problem is always the same: returning home! Let's start by saying that when we arrived, we met Antonella and Ettore, two incredibly welcoming, kind, cheerful people who were available to answer any questions or provide assistance. Ettore accompanies us to the chalet, and it's here that, as we drive along the road, you begin to realize how magnificent the place is, in a wide valley surrounded by greenery. I can assure you that the photos don't do justice to how much more fabulous it is in person. To unload your suitcases there is a freight elevator which is very convenient, so no effort! The interior of the chalet is clean and super-equipped and nothing is missing and is furnished down to the smallest detail. Waking up in the morning and enjoying the scenery is indescribable. You feel like you're in paradise. For those who enjoy a bit of isolation and tranquility, I assure you this is the ideal place to help you relax. Ettore is always available for any need, and if you want to use the sauna and hot tub upon your return from your walks, he will come and turn it on and find it ready for your arrival. What more can I say? Words are never enough to describe this beautiful place, so for a vacation, I recommend staying in this chalet and returning home with peace of mind. Many thanks to Ettore and Antonella for making sure we didn't miss a thing!

A unique place!

We found this place by chance online. As soon as we arrived, it was like stepping into a postcard, a breathtaking view of the greenery of the Stelvio National Park. The owners, Antonella and Ettore, are two wonderful people, two friends you haven't seen in years, and whom you can always count on for anything. It's a must-see for pet owners, too; we have a golden retriever with whom Diablo, the owners' dog, quickly became friends. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace and a fairytale setting.

Insider tip

The house (1430 meters) is beautifully situated in a quiet, secluded location on a mountainside, offering picture-perfect views. It can be reached via San Bernardo (1091 meters) above Piazzola (1314 meters). We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and everything was explained to us. The chalet is charmingly furnished with lovely details, and the bathroom has been very modernly renovated. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and towels and extra bed linen were provided. There's a fantastic terrace with picturesque mountain views and plenty of seating and lounging options. The sauna and jacuzzi offer breathtaking panoramic views and are brand new. It takes about half an hour to walk down to the village, where there is a supermarket and a small café-bar where you can observe typical village life. The next town, San Bernardo, is easily accessible by car and has two restaurants. Pizzeria 800 offers exceptionally good pizza, and Restaurant Al Cervo serves great regional cuisine. Both are wonderful places to relax and enjoy yourself. The hospitality was outstanding, a real insider tip! We'll be back!

The only problem... getting home

You always arrive with high expectations. The quality and abundance of photos posted by the owners clearly show how magnificent the place is; it's quiet and isolated, too. The apartments are beautifully furnished, too. But... but... when you arrive... no, you realize the descriptions don't match the reality. I was left breathless... and speechless, but I don't think I'm the only one. After a few kilometers of enchanting roads among the farms, you climb from the 1,100 meters of San Bernardo to the 1,450 meters of the parking lot... where the houses end (be careful with snow tires, as unfortunately there aren't always guardrails...). And here you call Ettore, who immediately appears with charming professionalism and gives you a forestry permit to continue. A short walk through the woods and you arrive... at the private parking lot. But where is the chalet? Your gaze sweeps 360 degrees across the splendid mountain ranges that make the Rabbi Valley rugged and unique. Then you look down and... you're left speechless at the sight of the chalet you have to... descend to! The private courtyard is large, and there's even a lift for your luggage! I was speechless for a while, even at the charming little apartment... truly new, carefully and respectfully decorated, and made unforgettable by the exquisite designs that peek out from the walls and furniture. Then there's the large stove that will keep your winter evenings extra warm. And a large fenced garden that made our two Swiss dogs very happy. Oh yes, the dogs... this is the perfect place if you're vacationing with your dogs. Ettore had already established a good relationship with Jo and Jinni and was truly always available for us. But we really didn't need anything. With the variety of little roads, valley paths, and waterfalls, it was an unforgettable holiday. We'll be back in the summer for the farms and the food... Fairytale Chalet

I stayed in this chalet with my dog. A beautiful chalet, nestled in the Stelvio National Park, nestled among the woods. Silence reigns here, broken only by the tinkling of cowbells and the rushing stream. A beautiful natural terrace allows you to sit outside, read a book, or have breakfast while admiring the mountains. A magical place, from where you can set off on easy, well-trodden paths to discover enchanting places, dotted with woods and streams. The chalet is gorgeous, every one of us's dreams. It's fully equipped, very clean, and new. And then there are Antonella and Ettore, the owners. Two wonderful people, who welcomed me with spontaneity and affection. Ettore is an excellent local tour guide, very helpful and, above all, friendly. Antonella, as a good hostess, knows how to pamper her guests. I usually never return to the same place, but the Rabbi Valley stole my heart, the chalet cradled my soul. I'll be back. You can't not come back!
