The Balbeinhof has been a family-owned heritage farm for more than 200 years – a true symbol of lived tradition and enduring continuity. What once began as a guesthouse run by grandfather Johann and grandmother Kreszenz Ploner has been transformed into a place of renewed charm, featuring three cosy holiday apartments, a traditional farm tavern, a ski hire service, and, above all, warm and genuine hospitality.
Today, Franz Ploner, his son Martin, and Laura – the heart and soul of the house – extend a warm welcome to you. Martin is always on hand to assist with any questions regarding your stay, while Laura ensures a truly memorable experience through her personal care and homemade farm produce.
On our farm, you will find chickens, cows, a dwarf pony, a miniature pony, and two pygmy goats – a real highlight, especially for our younger guests!
