In the heart of the Val di Funes

We spent 5 days in this pristine valley and everything was perfect, there are many things we appreciated: The Kaserott's privileged location in the heart of the Odle Mountains, just steps from the little church of Santa Maddalena; the thoughtfulness and attention to detail shown by owner Daniela and her family; every morning we had the opportunity to use eggs from free-range hens; a large patio with an adjoining garden for our apartment; a sauna available to guests, strategically located with a large window overlooking the Odle Mountains; and then there was Tommy, a wonderful cat to whom we immediately became attached and who stayed with us almost constantly. Everything was perfect, but it made our already short vacation even faster!

On recommendation

The house itself has charm, and then there's the breathtaking view. All the family members are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They're always ready to help with advice and support during activities. We thoroughly enjoyed all the hikes and the climbing park. Relaxation from the very beginning. We'd love to come back again.

Holiday at the foot of the Odle

Friendliness, hospitality and organization

At the Schatzer family's "kaserott" apartments, we found everything a person, not just a tourist, could hope for: a warm welcome from the first phone call, helpfulness, organization, and cleanliness. I thank Daniela and her family and congratulate them on everything. We will definitely see each other again soon.

Holiday in a corner of paradise

The property's location is ideal for those seeking serenity and silence and, above all, an unparalleled view. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need: salt, dishwasher tabs, baking paper, and more. The view of the Odle group is jaw-dropping: it's a must-see to appreciate the wonder of creation. The discreet care and attention of the owners, whom I would call friends, was greatly appreciated: welcomed with a smile and left with joy in their hearts and the desire to return as soon as possible. My wife and I spent the 2022 Christmas holidays. Highly recommended.

Relaxing holidays against the backdrop of the Odle mountains

For our vacation in Val di Funes, we chose the Kaserott. Our apartment, small but clean and very functional, had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city and work. We were warmly welcomed by the Schatzer family. Its strong points were definitely the large covered patio for al fresco dining and the private garden at our complete disposal. An experience we'll definitely repeat!

Spectacular view

A pleasant stay in a comfortable, well-maintained and clean apartment with a garden offering a wonderful view of the Odle mountains. The owners were extremely welcoming and extremely kind and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring the valley and its scenic trails. We'll be back!

Very nice baby-friendly holiday apartment with garden and fantastic views

We and our baby received a warm welcome from the Schatzer family. The Geislerblick apartment, with its seating area, offers a wonderful view of the mountains. A small supermarket (a small general store) is located right in St. Maddalena, about a 10-minute walk away, and is surprisingly well-stocked for its size. The Schatzer family provided us with a lot of information and also supplied a cot. They also offered a bread roll delivery service and fresh eggs. The Villnöss Valley offers many beautiful hikes with numerous opportunities to stop for refreshments at alpine pastures and huts, without being cluttered with ski lifts. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Very nice apartment, nice hosts and beautiful location

The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished. The welcome and communication were very warm, and we immediately felt at home. We enjoyed the view and the terrace every day. We were traveling with a child and can highly recommend the apartment to other families. We would love to come back!

Unique!

Extraordinary stay

The apartment is beautiful and the location is fabulous: the view is breathtaking, just like a postcard. The apartment is well-organized and fully equipped. It's very clean, and the garden is well-kept, with plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing and admiring the view. There's an outdoor table where you can eat, and there are games for the kids. The family is very welcoming. You can pick vegetables from the garden and buy fresh eggs from their chicken coop. They also offer local apple juice. Fresh bread can be ordered and delivered early in the morning. A beautiful trail passes near the house, making it easy to reach the village.
