Authentic and unforgettable holiday

Staying here was one of the most wonderful experiences we could have had. Living on this farm was an authentic experience that allowed us adults to relive distant childhood memories and our children to experience the true rural life, learning about the sacrifice of hard work, love for animals, and respect for nature. The family is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Madleen, in particular, manages to capture the children's attention and teach them about the hard life of the stables while keeping them entertained. Despite her intense workload, she always accommodated the children's requests, letting them play with the animals (cats, rabbits, and calves), explore the barn, and play to their heart's content in their garden, which is filled with toys. The Grabe apartment is huge, clean, and well-equipped. It's the first time I've ever found a better place to stay on vacation. Board games, books for adults and children, and travel guides are also available for relaxing moments at home. All surrounded by an enchanting and pristine valley where the ski lifts don't reach but which is still served by buses and shuttles. What can I say, a holiday to repeat!

A real mountain holiday

Wonderful experience, Madleen is a friendly, patient, polite and always available girl. It gave me a better understanding of what goes on on a farm. The place is enchanting, the stable and all the rooms are extremely clean and well organised. The town is a stone's throw from Vipiteno. Really clean air. We left with a heavy heart...

Wonderful holiday in a real farmhouse

The authentic environment, the beauty and tranquility of the valley, and the easy access to public transportation: three ingredients for a fantastic vacation! But even more wonderful was the experience of interacting with people who were not only kind and welcoming, but also capable of conveying their enthusiasm and love for the environment and the hard work of mountain farmers. It was an experience that left us with something more than a "normal" mountain stay! Ideal for those with children and those who want to connect with nature. Thank you!

The old farmhouse is now a place of welcome and hospitality

Excellent hospitality and helpfulness, comfortable, clean apartment, equipped with everything we needed, including dog amenities. Children are very welcome, and there's everything they need, including a garden with games. A charming place in the stunning natural setting of the Vizze Valley, not far from Vipiteno and served by a free bus. This farm makes you feel at home and has a perfect vacation. We'll be back!

Everything perfect

We were guests of the farmhouse for a weekend, from Friday to Sunday. Mrs. Madleen was extremely kind and available to provide any information. After showing us the house, she provided information on local nature spots, free public transportation for guests, and the sleds and snowshoes available for guests. One evening, she even booked dinner for us. I appreciated: the very spacious house (there were 7 of us); the kitchen equipped with everything; The freshly milked milk pours out every morning; We take care of every need, even that of our furry friends. There are dog poop bags and a special container in the garden. Despite the minus 21 degrees outside, the climate was very hot. The only flaw, if we want to be picky, is the shower which is not very comfortable (which can be overlooked). Enchanting valley, beautiful walks in the woods, and a suggestive frozen waterfall. I highly recommend it, we will be back.

great experience

A truly positive experience: the clean and warm accommodation, the kindness of the staff, and the exceptional location, even for those who prefer to get around by public transportation. We were provided with free snowshoes, sleds, and bus tickets, which we took advantage of. We even got free sled rental tickets for Monte Cavallo, home to the longest sledding run in Italy. The kids also got a visit to the stable, complete with a dip in the hay. We couldn't have asked for better. We would definitely like to go back.

Life on the farm

Unique experience

Amazing peace and tranquility

Perfect stay

We stayed two days in this property and we were thrilled with it. The location is excellent for beautiful walks and the silence and peace you breathe are unique. The apartment was huge and the friendliness of the staff was incredible. My girls fell in love with Madleen who took them to the stable to look after the animals. To return and highly recommend.
