Wonderful holiday in contact with nature

We stayed 6 nights at the Zemmer family's mountain hut. Apartment number 1 is very spacious and has an unforgettable view of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto mountains. Breakfast, for just €5, is plentiful and made with excellent quality ingredients; the bread was simply fantastic. Without using a car, you can enjoy dozens of excursions. A week of walking, relaxation, and good food; the rest is left to the Dolomites with their exceptional beauty. A charming place, we will return.

A true paradise

We've been staying at Romerswaighe for five years now and have already booked for the next two. It's truly heaven on earth. The apartments are welcoming and clean. Frida and Cristian are wonderful people, always available to help their guests. Our dog always travels with us and has always been welcomed. An oasis of peace and serenity, a place to forget everything and rediscover the magic and charm of nature. Romerswaighe holds a special place in our hearts.

A holiday you won’t forget...

The natural amphitheater where this farmhouse is located is nothing short of breathtaking. Your eyes won't know where to look... every glimpse is a postcard. Peace, serenity, tranquility, beauty, nature... Simple but well-kept and very welcoming apartments. The convenience of no longer using the car and getting around only on foot and by bike makes this vacation unlike any other. Trails everywhere, mountain huts where you can rest, benches to admire the landscape. The beauty of the plateau and the high-altitude refuges. Very welcoming staff at the refuges. As for the owners of the house, they are truly "dear" people.

A little paradise on the Alps

The breathtaking location: waking up in the morning, looking out the window, and feasting your eyes on the view of Sassolungo and Sassopiatto. The kindness of the owners and the excellent breakfasts prepared by Frieda. We wanted to spend ten days right in the Alps, and it was a fantastic experience that allowed us to take beautiful, long walks in areas that would otherwise have been more difficult to reach. Apartment 3 was well-equipped and extremely comfortable. In conclusion: a place we will recommend to friends and will definitely return to.

Like an open-air cinema!

You return from your walks, settle into a lounger, and gaze, observe, and admire everything around you! The Sassolungo and Sassopatto mountains, the Odle, the Gardena Pass—you can't close your eyes to rest from the day's exertions...because what you see is so beautiful, and you can't miss a single moment of the ever-changing colors. A simple, beautiful place, and the cheerful courtesy of the hostess!

Wonderful days at Römerschwaige

We felt extremely comfortable. The apartment was very clean, perfectly functional, and incredibly cozy thanks to all the wood; the view was breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed being close to the animals, the deck chairs and sofa in front of the farmhouse, and the location somewhat off the beaten tourist track. In the mornings, there was fresh milk and delicious spelt bread! Watching little Heidi the goat on her first excursions into the fragrant meadow filled us with joy. Our daughter adored the cuddly cat. We were allowed to store our bikes in the barn, and you can go biking directly from the farm. We'll be back in winter.
