How to feel at home

I spent four days with my family at this hotel, where I'd stayed many years ago in the summer with our small children. It had already impressed me back then, making me want to return in the winter. The positive impression I had then remains the same, many years later. Although you could dine in the evening (and very well, by the way), and now it's just a B&B, it still retains its hotel/guesthouse feel, very welcoming and family-friendly. Maurizio, who runs it, is not only friendly but always ready to answer any questions. The corner of the living room with the fireplace lit from afternoon until evening is truly pleasant, the rooms are fully equipped and warm, and the breakfast is plentiful, with excellent homemade cakes, biscuits, and much more. Convenient ski and boot storage is available, and even more convenient is the free bus service just a few meters from the hotel to the slopes. A short walk takes you to the center of Corvara and various restaurants and pizzerias in the area, some of which have special agreements with the hotel. The prices are absolutely fair, considering the Christmas season and the location. We'll be back and I highly recommend it.

Feeling welcomed

A nice surprise!

Our stay at the Maria Hotel was truly delightful! A warm welcome in a family atmosphere, excellent cuisine, and a quiet location, yet very well served by the ski bus. In short, we lacked nothing! We hope to return soon!

Beautiful holiday

I spent a wonderful week at the property. It's a welcoming hotel, located in a very quiet area. I really appreciated the kettle in the room. The hotel's cuisine is excellent: for breakfast, there's a rich buffet of homemade desserts, including a very good Linzer. In the evening, the buffet features appetizers and vegetables, something for all tastes, and is constantly replenished. The following dishes are well-cooked and seasoned with excellent condiments (extra virgin olive oil), which is uncommon in the area. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I recommend it to both couples and families.

On holiday with Maurizio!

Hotel Maria is a family-run establishment, and that's exactly why you feel at home... Maurizio is a wonderful person and all the staff are attentive to every need. As soon as I can return to Corvara, I will definitely go there!

Excellent structure

Our first summer in Alta Badia, and I must say we had a wonderful time. This was thanks not only to the valley's wonders, but also to the excellent Hotel Maria, managed by Mr. Maurizio, who makes you feel right at home. The food is excellent and you sleep even better. The value for money is excellent.

Welcoming Hotel Maria

We stayed at the hotel with friends and our three children over New Year's Eve. The hotel is very welcoming. The rooms were clean, and they put us all in adjacent rooms (we booked well in advance). The breakfasts and dinners were superb (compliments to the chef). The ski bus stop is very close, taking you to the slopes in just a few minutes. The town center is also within walking distance. It's very child-friendly; you can tell they're used to having them around and are very attentive to their needs. It was a wonderful stay, and I would return.

Christmas in the snow

We spent a fantastic week as guests of Mr. Maurizio and his kind and helpful wife! The room was spotless and comfortable, and we even had the option of making ourselves a hot cup of tea upon returning from skiing! Excellent dining room service, courtesy and efficiency, tasty and authentic dishes to enjoy every evening, and generous breakfasts that will satisfy even the most greedy guests... The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, with discretion and attentiveness for all guests. Santa Claus was a joyous host, and there were pleasant surprises for everyone. The shuttle service to the slopes and the town center was also greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back, and anyone looking for comfort, good food, courtesy, and excellent value for money will definitely want to visit!
