Another great stay

We had another wonderful holiday and stayed at the Ru Blanch. For the past seven years, we have been visiting the Ru Blanch for our family ski trips to Alta Badia. Thanks to the excellent staff and service, we are always pleased with our experience. We hope to return in 2026!

Thank you for the great stay!

Great hotel with a beautiful view

The location of the hotel is great, situated on a hill with a fantastic view. The breakfast was great, and the staff is very good. We will return.

A fantastic stay

We have stayed at the hotel on a number of occasions and we always leave wanting to return. A great family hotel in an excellent location with excellent staff. The owners make are very welcoming and make our stay a memorable experience every year.

Great small hotel

The perfect hotel in a beautiful surrounding. Facilities and rooms are awesome and the food is high quality. The staff were all lovely, the atmosphere was great, everything spotlessly clean. Loved our stay here, would happily come back again!

Wonderful sunny hotel in San Cassiano

Family run business, beautifully renovated house, mostly in wood. Our room Gardenaccia was fantastic, large and the last spot with sun in San Cassiano. The house is at walking distance to San Cassiano. There is a wonderful „Höhenweg“ next to the house. Excellent views and calm compared to San Cassiano (many tourists). Quality-price relationship is excellent. The service and the owner were extremely friendly. We will repeat!

A fantastic family holiday

This is the second time we have stayed at the Rü Blanch with the Covid restrictions stopping us from travelling last year. We had another fantastic family holiday, and we were very well looked after during our stay. We stayed in a family room with balcony and excellent views over the Piz Sorega lift and towards the mountains beyond. We were treated to some excellent food both for breakfast and especially for dinner, where we eat some local specialities. The hotel is ideally positioned with a short shuttle bus trip to the Piz Sorega lift which was our gateway to the Alta Badia ski area and the whole of the Dolomiti Ski area. We can’t wait to come back!

Another great stay

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay at Rü Blanch. Spacious room with a beautiful view, very clean, good food with fresh products, very good wellness, free taxi to the slopes. On top of that, everything is done with a big smile. See you next year in December.

Wonderful vacation

It was an amazing vacation in small hotel Rü Blanch. We spent there 1 week and we really enjoyed our stay. Although the location of the hotel is not close to the lift, there was a regular transfer, so it was never a problem. Moreover, the place was really quite. The apartment was charming and always clean. The dinners were tasty and interesting. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Thanks a lot. We would like to come again!

Wonderful stay at a fantastic hotel!

We had a fantastic holiday at Pension Rü Blanch. We stayed for a week with two young children. We were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was very clean, the staff were extremely friendly and the spa facilities wonderful. We are hoping to book again for next year as we couldn't think of a better base to explore the fabulous ski area!

Wonderful family ski holiday

We have just returned from a wonderful week in San Cassiano staying at the Rü Blanch Hotel. We initially liked the look of the hotel and we made the enquiry. The communication was very good and we managed to book our week for two families of four. Our friends then wanted to join us and the hotel accommodated them for 5 days with no problems. The hotel was immaculate and food was excellent, especially the Thursday evening when we sampled a buffet of local antipasto. The hotel is close to the Piz Sorego lift and this was made very easy by the free shuttle bus to the gondola. The ski area is vast and with the Dolomiti Super Ski pass you can explore a huge area beyond the local Alta Badia resort, which in itself is very good for family skiing. The hotel is family run and the owners and all of the staff made it a very enjoyable stay. We would thoroughly recommend the Hotel and we will be going back.

Fabulous skiing holiday

We were delighted with our stay, everything was perfect. We were made to feel so welcome and cared for by the family and staff. During our stay we lost our rucksack with our phone and passports, Andreas, the owner went to amazing lengths to find it and bring it back to us. We are seasoned travellers and we found Ru Blanch an exceptional and special place.

Fantastic place

We felt welcome from the minute we arrived till the moment we left. Everyone was friendly, attentive and helpful, the atmosphere homely and informal. Located on the mountainside, Rü Blanch has beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Convenient for Piz Sorega gondola, the free shuttle takes a couple of minutes. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The saunas, steam and relaxation rooms are perfect after the day on the slopes, with cold drinks, herbal teas and fruit provided. Breakfast is simple and delicious, with homemade cakes in addition to a continental style ham, cheese, eggs, bread and croissants. Three course dinners were different every day, with soup or pasta as first course, steak, ribs, steamed salmon are examples of main course - always made with fresh, local produce. Dessert always had an ice cream option. There was also salad bar and fruit. It also has a spacious and convenient ski room with heated boot racks, and a small playroom in the basement area. Definitely a place I am looking forward to returning again in future.
