Fantastic stay

We stayed 5 nights in this wonderful place. The room was always clean, and the breakfast was simple and delicious. But what struck us most was Wolf's kindness and helpfulness, as he acted as our guide and gave us valuable advice on mountain huts to visit. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic!

I stayed at Haus Ortner with my family last week... it felt like home! The room was spacious, newly renovated, with a balcony overlooking a quiet garden with a barbecue. Breakfast in the morning was a pleasant exchange of stories and laughter among all the guests. The host and his wife (and grandmother!) were very helpful, approachable, and always ready to help us. We weren't familiar with the area, and every morning he advised us like a true tour operator about excursion options... we'll see you again soon, highly recommended!

Great stay!

Delightful and spotlessly clean attic apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and forest views. The semi-enclosed balcony is very convenient, and the location is excellent at the entrance to the village. Mr. Wolfgang was very kind and provided us with all the information we needed before and during our stay. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth a try!

Winter vacation

This was our second stay in Sexten, and we felt very comfortable. We also made good use of the breakfast/common room. Many sights and ski resorts are easily accessible on foot or by public transport. All in all: a fantastic holiday, a wonderful host family, and lovely accommodation. We'd love to come back!

You feel comfortable there.

This was our second time staying with the Ortner family. As with our first visit, we received a warm welcome and were excellently looked after throughout our stay. The Ortner family is always happy to take the time to give tips on hiking trails, good restaurants, and everything else you can explore in Sexten and the surrounding area. We personally really appreciated this. Keep up the good work and see you soon in Sexten.

Super location

Convenience is paramount: the rooms are comfortable (we've tried several over time, some newer, but all spotlessly clean and spacious), and the parking is easily accessible from the street (certainly useful in winter if it snows). The Sesto ski lifts are close by and convenient. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. Wolfgang is a truly helpful and friendly host, always ready to accommodate guests' needs. A convenient ski storage room with boot warmers completes the property.

Wonderful stay, despite the weather

Delightful room and bathroom (attic) overlooking the garden and mountains. The semi-enclosed balcony is lovely: perfect for sunbathing and sheltering from inclement weather. The furnishings are simple and functional. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent (delicious bread). The owner was friendly and welcoming. Excellent location (Statale Carnica, just outside Sesto, heading towards San Candido), convenient parking. Good value for money. I will definitely return.

Highly recommended!

Weekend in Sesto

Some friends recommended this place to me as a place to spend a weekend with my family. I couldn't have gotten a better recommendation! The welcome was perfect, and Wolfgang, the host, was always available. Anna was very kind and even made us breakfast. Perfect, new room with a large bathroom. Everything was spotless. We'll be back.

Great time in Sexten with the Ortner family

As a long-time regular guest, I was drawn back to beautiful Sexten at the beginning of January to stay with the very friendly Ortner family. Everything was perfect, as always: clean, comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast in the charming common room, and the incredibly hospitable Ortner family, who anticipate your every need. They readily offer great tips for leisure activities upon request. If you prefer peace and quiet, you can certainly enjoy that too. Excellent value for money. I'm already looking forward to my next stay with the Ortner family!

Dear Ortner family, Once again, we spent wonderful days with you. We absolutely loved your house, which you completely renovated a few years ago. You did a fantastic job!
