For those who love the mountains

The welcoming atmosphere and the kindness and helpfulness of the owners made our holiday truly relaxing and rejuvenating. Furthermore, the Aurina Valley offers a unique setting that is a must-see for mountain lovers. I first visited many years ago and hope to return one day.

Excellent location

Excellent location, close to the main road but without any traffic noise. A 5-minute walk from the bus stop and many other amenities: across the street is a restaurant, bar, café, bakery, tourist office, and supermarket. From here, several trails start, and you're close to the river. Campo Tures and Casere, where you can visit the copper mine, are just a short drive away. Compared to many other accommodations I've stayed at, the elevator and the in-room refrigerator get 100 extra points. The elevator is very useful for carrying suitcases up to the room, and the refrigerator is great for keeping drinks and other items cool. We had a great time; the breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of both sweet and savory options. The homemade jams and spreads were delicious: hazelnut, almond, strawberry, coconut, pistachio... a very original idea. I tried them all. Very good accommodation, good service and friendliness. There is also a veranda and a garden, the latter of which we unfortunately did not see.

Familiarity

Our first hotel since we discovered the Aurina Valley over 20 years ago, and the next generation still manages it with the same familiarity as back then.

A beautiful experience

My sister and I have been coming to Lutago for many years, but this was our first time staying at the Schwarzbachhof. I must say we were completely satisfied. The hotel is spacious, welcoming, and very well-maintained. The rooms are large and clean. They don't offer half board; they only serve breakfast, but for dinner, right across the street from the hotel is a good restaurant with reasonable prices and fast service, where we dined almost every night. And speaking of breakfast, the jams and various desserts (excellent) are authentic, homemade by the owner and his mother. The berry jam and apricot syrup are delicious... We've already booked to return next year.

Excellent value for money

Stayed 2 nights for a transit bike tour of the Dolomites. Recommended price, great breakfast buffet, and use of the heated outdoor hot tub included. Recommended.

Hannes number one

Beautiful places, many paths along the river. Strategic point for trekking, biking and rafting. At the hotel they give you all the maps and explanations.

Do you want to relax? This is a great place.

Excellent welcome and customer service, very nice, spacious, and functional room (even with a small refrigerator). The breakfast buffet is extensive and of excellent quality (the homemade jams and elderberry juice are exceptional!), with the kitchen available to accommodate any requests (especially the eggs, which are delivered in a flash). Very interesting: in addition to free use of public transport in South Tyrol, the hotel also offers free entry to regional museums and exhibitions.

Hotels in Aurina Valley

Excellent location for amenities, despite being in a quiet area. Large, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. It's just a shame they don't offer half-board. It didn't bother us due to the many restaurants in the area, but for some, it might be a plus.

Hospitality and welcome in a splendid setting

A comfortable and basic hotel, well-maintained and comfortable, in a beautiful valley with access to many trails, some steep but easy to navigate. A special mention to the family for their genuine and generous welcome, which made us feel right at home.
