The Contrin Hotel was the first hotel in Fontanazzo small village near of Campitello di Fassa, in Val di Fassa a few km from Canazei.
It was the skill of the whole Spinel family, formed by Tita, Rosina, Andrea and Giorgio, Edith and Elena to have given birth in the 70’ to a lovely accommodation, where hospitality, kindness, cleaning and excellent cuisine are always values and characteristics very welcome by guests.
The hotel has 19 rooms. All rooms have a panoramic balcony with access by a large window, they are all very bright. The doubles are ideal for a couple, have an average size of 13/14 sqm with a private bathroom of 3.5 sqm. The 3 rooms, in the attic, are triple and have an area of 18 sqm. These are also with private bathroom and balcony.
The Hotel is located in a delightful corner of Fontanazzo, away from the main road, and this ensures silence at every hour of the day and night. You can admire up close the imposing Dolomite mountains declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site; from the Hotel you can see the Pordoi and a glimpse of the Sella Group, in addition to Col Rodella and Sassolungo, we are right in the centre of the Dolomites.
Inside our hotel, Wellness becomes simple, the Alpine-style in the Wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, a relax zone with ergonomic wooden beds and an outdoor Jacuzzi with panoramic mountain views.
And then, the kitchen!! A delicious Italian cuisine with excellent local dishes and a careful selection of raw food, the desserts are amazing. The hearty and delicious breakfast is every morning an emotion for all the sense. And the service is great.
It seems a dream, it seems strange for a 2 stars, but it’s all true, read all our reviews and come and visit us!
This is a quiet and familiar place where the mountain is the scenery.
You will not be at home never, but on holiday in the middle of the Dolomites.
