Haus Helga is a family run business where people enjoy their work. The B&B is situated in the centre of the village of Wiesen in a calm surrounding, not too near to the main street, surrounded by private gardens and near to many walking trails. From the house you can walk to three restaurants. One of them serves traditional Tyrolean food, one is a hotel and the other one is a pizzeria. You’ll find a grocery for your daily needs, too, and a well-tended park with minigolf and a Kneipp walking path.
All rooms are all furnished with shower, WC, balcony and SAT TV. The breakfast includes local and home-made products such as jam and cakes. The village Wiesen is the beginning of the idyllically valley of Pfitsch. Wiesen is situated at 950m of altitude and is surrounded by high mountains. Here you can practise all kind of outdoor sports like walking, hiking, biking, jogging and many others. About 3 km from the guesthouse you can find the lively and historical city of Sterzing. Here you can see the symbol of Sterzing welcoming you: the city tower, also called "Zwölferturm". Even when the weather is bad there is entertainment. You can learn more about local history visiting one of the interesting museums or go shopping in one of the romantic and historical cities of Sterzing, Brixen or Klausen. In the surroundings there are three ski resorts, beautiful cross-country skiing slopes, toboggan runs, an ice stadium and an ice-skating-court in Wiesen. The three ski resorts (Rosskopf, Ratschings and Ladurns) with about 51 km of ski runs and 17 lifts can be reached by car in only a few minutes. So come to Haus Helga, to enjoy and forget the everyday life.
