Valmalencoalpina® was born in 2004 from Ivan’s vision to turn his passion for the mountains into a profession as a Mountain Guide. For over 20 years, Ivan has worked as a Mountain Guide, accompanying clients to every corner of the world – wherever there were mountains to explore.
From this passion came the desire to create a place of genuine hospitality in his hometown of Caspoggio. So, the house that once belonged to his uncles, located in the historic centre of the village, was carefully restored to welcome guests.
The meticulous finishes, crafted by his brother Michele – an artist – make this house truly one of a kind, and living in it is a truly authentic experience.

Our home dates back to the early 1600s, and we made it a priority to preserve its original architecture. Stone and wood were the key elements of our restoration. The house retains the dimensions of times gone by, allowing you to experience the cosy intimacy of traditional mountain life. The old hamlet of "Bergum" will be your cradle, and our home your splendid retreat.
The property offers a small wellness area with a Finnish sauna, wooden hot tub with hydromassage, sensory shower, and a small relaxation area with fruit and herbal teas. It is for private and exclusive use in 2-hour slots and comes at an additional cost.
