The camping site Palafavera is situated in the high Val di Zoldo in the heart of the Dolomites, at 1.514 meters above sea level.
It is a huge natural park that extends itself over 50.000 mq with pitches for caravans and tents.
Located in an enchanting setting below the Civetta mountain range and the foot of the Pelmo mountain, among the locals known as "Caregon del Padreterno" or the "Throne of God", the area was designated an UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in June 2009.
The area offers a wide variety of excursions including refuges, mountain pastures and climbing trails. It is part of the Civetta and Dolomiti-Superski skiing zone and equipped with a Nordic ski path of 7,5 km. The campsite offers a high quality service in the Open-Air-Tourism sector.
All pitches are equipped with electricity. The bathrooms are new, modernly furnished and heated, featuring a children-area. The camping has also a laundry with washing machines, dryers, ironing area, heated room for washing the dishes, heated ski-room and dog washing area.
The camping Palafavera features also a small market, an alpine hut with fire place, pool table, five-a-side and volleyball field.
