Explore the Passeiertal in autumn

Small hotel

Moso in Passiria / Moos in Passeier Merano / Meran and surroundings, South Tyrol

The end of summer is getting closer. The last warm days spoil us with rays of sunshine and let the colourful leaves shine in all their colours. Away from the summer heat, you can go on wonderful hikes, let time pass and relax.

A great programme awaits you this week:
-Tuesday: Follow in the footsteps of the Ice Age. Hike together to Lake Seeber, where you will be amazed by the flora and fauna of the Seeber Valley. Listen to the story of the once mighty glacier and enjoy lunch together.
-Wednesday: Today we head to our Stuller Mahder, where you will be spoilt with regional and seasonal dishes at the Wildschützhütte.
-Thursday: Sustainable and renewable energy in Val Passiria/Passeiertal? You heard right! Sepp will explain how electricity is generated from water at the Gomion power station. On your way back, you’ll stop off at the Hinterbruggerhof farm pub, where you can sample a typical Merednebrettl.
-Friday: Did you know that the largest ore mining area in Europe operated in Val Passiria/Passeiertal until 1967? Today you hike high up to the Schneeberg, where you can explore the preserved tunnels after a delicious lunch.
