Braies lies in the Braies Valley, nestled in the Braies Dolomites, at the head of the valley lies Lake Braies (1494 m), overlooked by the Sasso Piatto (2810 m). Another natural highlight is the Prato Piazza, a high plateau of fascinating beauty and with stunning views.
Our apartments Herrensteinblick on the 1st floor/ Hochalmblick on the 2nd floor are a cosy flats, furnished with solid wood furniture. The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer and bidet. There is a cosy double bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. On the balcony facing west you can enjoy the sunset and the end of a beautyful holiday day. The cosy hanging chair invites you to relax and read.
The total price includes bed linen, towels and the final cleaning as well as all expenses and fees with the exception of the local tourist tax.
The amount of tourist tax you pay is based on the council regulations in force in the local area at the time of your stay (currently 3,00 euros per day per person aged 14 years and over).
We reserve the right to charge an additional 50 Euros if the flat is left dirty.
Pets are unfortunately not allowed on our farm, because we would also like to offer guests with a pet allergy a carefree time out on our farm. We ask for your understanding.
In a few minutes’ walk you can reach the main village of Schmieden with a small well-stocked supermarket, bank, two cosy restaurants and the bus stop.
On holiday at the Glögglhof you can start your day with healthy delicacies. We will be happy to spoil you with our farm produce: fresh milk and eggs and in summer fresh herbs, salads and vegetables from our organic farm garden.
There is free wi-fi throughout the house.
Our Glögglhof is situated in a quiet and idyllic location at 1,200 m, surrounded by meadows and forests and is a popular starting point for hiking tours. Fresh, clean air and the varied natural and cultural landscape of Alta Pusteria are ideal conditions for this.
