Vigolana The Race

From the lush countryside of Vigolo Vattaro (675m), the start is slightly uphill on an asphalt road for a few hundred metres until turning onto a path that crosses the green meadows on the slopes of the Vigolana as far as Malga Dos del Bue (1050m).

We then take the SAT 445/444 path that climbs towards the Bivacco Vigolana (2030 m), passing through the locality Acqua della Mastaze (1060 m), where the first refreshment point is located. We pass the "Gratarola" (1469m), the "Polsa" (1551m) and then enter the Val Larga where we begin to encounter the first stretches of the equipped path that lead to the foot of the "Madonnina" and then to Forcella Val Larga (2100m). The second refreshment point and the time gate set at 2 hours and 40 minutes are located here.
